For the first superpower america sure seems to drip feed the support.

I expect this to be done to deliberately grind down russia while minimizing risk to US assets.

Going heavy on support would wrap up the conflict faster but not crippling russia enough for the long term. USA wants to pivot towards the pacific/focus on China afterall.

It also puts pressure on europe to carry the weight (which it hardly can, we almost budgetted away our militaries).
Getting them to “return under its wings/influence” as well as buying a lot of new military material and oil/gas from America.

Geopolitically this is a dream come through for America.

I've been saying this since the war started. It's not in the US interest for the Russians to be defeated quickly. They could have even prevented this war by flooding Ukraine with armour and F16s and making it a major non-NATO ally, but the wanted a war and use Ukraine for another "Afghanistan" for the Russians. Of course the Russians were too stupid and egotistical and fell for the trap. The US still could have ended the war by the end of last year if it didn't drip feed the Ukrainians with military aid. The US will be the only real winner from this, not Ukraine.

it sank a battle ship, lost no planes in air combat, and pretty much neutered Argentine air power over the army (not over the Navy) all from a naval only fleet (less the Vulcan attack) and recaptured territory 8,000 miles from its shores but it was only a few 100 miles off Argentina.

The world has been totally mislead by fantasy of Ukraine victory. None is possible. US/NATO have sent all kinds of weapons but none have worked to dislodge the Russians except the western media is full of stories of Ukrainian victories.

Instead it lost half the territory it tried to gain, had its first rebellion, and war is pretty much (courtesy of drones) is over Moscow. Putin takes the train and last week an airport was shutdown.
