Thanks for a sensible posting. If all Indian think like you do, India would not only be able to modify the SU-30MKI, but also create your own 5th generation fighter. But too bad most Indian in here do not seem to have common sense like you do. Because the #1 step of making progress is to know where you are. Once you know where you are, you can reach your destination.

This incident just happened. But its an extension of the AC incident. And I would bet my life that more incidents like this are on the way, as long as India would not make up its mind on which side it stand.

US definitely is the most powerful country. But Russia will not side with the US base on the situation in Europe.

the position of russia gets changed when u talk abt east asia and european missile shield.
usa and russia can compromise on positions of east asia and europe as u mentioned.

I just think it's stupid that knowing no Taiwanese people in real life, you'd assume all Taiwanese people must be anti-mainland or pro-Indian (because Indian is against China) and anyone who is not must be a false-flag Pakistani or mainlander using a different flag.

Of course India can make some media attention stuff. But when it comes to Brahmos, India cannot make it by itself. Otherwise, it would make one that is longer than 300KM, which is an international treaty limitiation. Also, if India would not pay up, Russia would not help India out and you fanboys would have no chance to brag about hypersonic Brahmos.

I never say that USA and Russia would compromise on missile shields. We are going to put more ABM in Poland and this will drive Russia nuts. Both Bush and Obama has no strategic insight in Europe vs Russia. But this is a matter for another section of PDF.

Back to the topic. If India do not want to see more incidents like this from Russia, it need to make the hard decision on which side it will stand with.

we bought Brahmops directly from russia..
and Russia is alone working on Brahmos hypersonic.....Dude the guidance system and software is from india and engine is of russian.....
get ur facts right

No, I just think that Taiwanese whether pro or anti mainland, have better things to do with their time than indulge in continuous India bashing. Even mainland or expat Chinese on this site do not do it. All Chinese that I have seen here exhibit a certain balance in their view points. Where I see a marked departure, I see reason to doubt the flags displayed. Maybe I am wrong. Anyway, I don't call the Chinese 'stupid' for they are not.

I can't say why but maybe it's because Indians here keep dragging Taiwan (+ Japan + Korea) into a China India situation.

Thats not gonna happen, coz' China can never afford to concentrate on one front. In the turmoil India-China war, Taiwan will declare its independence and China will always face a threat from US and Japan.
