Well, my friend, insertion of secularism does prevent erosion of religious freedom.If it weren't for it being a part of constitution, we wouldn't be discussing it. Instead, many of secular credentials of our nation would have been eroded.

Yes, secularism is precious and we should guard it. It some times looks funny that on international front Indians boast of having unity in diversity and in same breadth opposes Secularism, the cause of Unity in diversity.

No insertion of secularism does not prevent erosion of religious freedom. If that was so Hindu temples would not be under govt control. If that was so, Hindu temples funds would not be squandered on repairing and maintaining Christian churches and Muslim mosques. If that was not so all Hindu religious festivals would not be under attack by seculars day in and day out as happens in India.

If that was not so, Christian and Muslim schools and colleges wont have tax exemptions and Hindu schools and colleges penalized and criminalized.

That you make these naive assumptions that secularism has upheld religious freedom in India despite the time you have spent on this forum says you are a lost case. A born fool and destined to remain one forever.

That is a wrong comparison. Sakshi Maharaj or Yogi Adityanath never said Christians will die because of wrath of Gods. Sakski Maharaj and Yogi Adityanath make political comments based on the history of Abhramic faith followers in India and not attack their religion per se.

i am just telling truth. i have seen so many muslims who openly says they will betray India for Saudi Arabia. you may not say it openly but every muslim has same sentiments for saudi arabia. after all that is where your religion was born.

@ravi kiran See... I am a devout Hindu. I support BJP but I am not a bigot. Muslims of India (or Christians or whatever...) are as much Indians as we both are. Hell, some like Kalam and Manekshaw are perhaps more Indian than you and me could ever be. Some RSS guys are idiots and they speak idiotic language. Same as some Imran Masood of Congress said we should behead Modi.
