Thank you for your certificate. It was neither wanted nor appreciated. The problem with your so-called POV is that it is based on prejudice, not on principle; it is based on faith, not on reason. There is no argument possible in such cases.

my POV is purely based on facts nothing else. India has gone through partition based on faith(Islam) not on reason. it is fact.

It was just the word that was inserted in but idea was always in their in our constitution. Our constitution did not give exclusivity to any religion while giving equal rights to all. What do you do about that? Change the constitution?

My emphasis was more on the undemocratic way it was done, do you support such arbitrary methods to slip in a word or two. It's funny you talk about equal rights to all, I don't see Muslim women enjoys equal rights as given to women from other religions. For eg. Shah Bano case, triple talak, 4 marriages.

in my home rules will be mine. same is for India. we Hindus are sons of this soil. we will decide fate of this land. people who are more loyal to saudi have no right on this land.

i am not against Islam. believe it or not i respect Islam. but i am against muslims of south asia. who are more arabs than arabs. who are loyal to arab land instead of their motherland. muslims have already divided my country i dont want that happen again.
I want India to be Hindu Rashtra where all minorities will have equal rights. that is much better than your fake secularism.

why are you bringing faiths between? i already said i have no problem with islam. i have problem with muslims of south asia. that means i am against particular group of people because of their wrong doing in past. and i want it should not happen in future.

It is pretty certain that the RSS's opinions did not suddenly manifest itself now, they have had this opinion for ages & it has made no iota of difference then nor will it do now. Flag, secularism....to take this opinions seriously is silly in the least. India won't change, so everybody needs to approach this type of a debate without going bonkers. Not like someone will either change the flag or make India "non-secular" tomorrow. Or the day after. We all know the constitutional position and know that nothing of this type is going to happen.

Not really. The article is dated September 20th. Remember reading it.

It is also far more nuanced when actually read, referring to a supposed congress demand in 1931 for a saffron flag.Nowhere does the article say the RSS demanded it. Nor is the discussion on secularism as stark as the headline suggests. I had actually laughed at the way it was reported when I first read the article & I can only be more amused by the reaction here to what is essentially a non-news.
