Excellent multi-role fighter with good ground support capability. Good thrust to weight ratio ( 1.07 ) and +9/-3 G tolerance. I am sure it has a top of the line avionics Package. A bit pricey at 125 Million USD and so obviously out of the price range for third world country like Pakistan.

Our goal is to put together fighters in 25 to 30 Million USD range that fits our budget well and yet incorporate some of the features of these costly European over-priced aircrafts.

As for J-10 , Pakistan Air Force is evaluating the desirability of J-10 versus the Fifth generation J-15 which is a Twin engine Fighter and has stealth features.

IMHO J-10 is a 1.5 times more advanced Fighter than JF-17 because of its greater agility and BVR capabilities. But if we can incorporate some of those BVR features in upgraded JF-17 Block 2 or Block 3, then it would make sense to have JF-17 as the backbone of PAF and LEAP FROG to J-15 fifth Generation Fighters. To begin with 3 to 4 Squadrons of J-15 in a Air Superiority role will do wonders for the PAF. J-15 is the Export version of China's version of the US F-35. It is a Twin Engine Stealth with high Level BVR capability and an advanced Multi-Role Fighter.

Others might disagree with my analysis so it will be interesting to see which route the PAF takes. One thing is for sure, Pakistan Air Force will not buy American or European Fighters anymore as we have had bad experience with Political and Military Blackmail by these countries. KSA is in a different position as it can turn off the oil spigots if the West tries to Blackmail KSA, and the West knows that.

Dont worry China will allways find a way to provide PAF with some J-10Bs.

Since you joined the consortium of the Typhoon,you could produce them in house(in Saudi Arabia)shortly?
