Rich Indians turn secessionist, giving up citizenship. ‘Nationalism’ poor man’s burden

In Canada almost every other migrant is literally an Indian and mostly Punjabis. I read somewhere that in India the Sikh population has drastically reduced and in the near future doesn't seem like there would be many left in the country. I'm actually shocked this is happening in in a relatively prosperous state in India.

If that is the case, we must welcome richer Indians emigrating as a positive side, no?

In Pakistan you would expect Balochi and Sindhis to flee due to extreme poverty and the Pashtuns due to law and order issues. But they don't migrate. They may go the Middle East as temporary labourers but eventually come back. I mainly see this as a Punjabi issue. Punjab, especially Central Punjab, is the most prosperous province. Sure there are lack of jobs but its not like its a life or death scenario like in other parts of the country. At least its capable of feeding itself and there are resources to move up the social stratum. Just as its the case of Indian Punjabis, Pakistani Punjabis sometimes shock me.

India does not allow dual citizenship. It is obligatory to renounce Indian citizenship and return the passport if an Indian citizen takes a foreign citizenship.

I don’t understand what Kashmiris are doing in Pakistan. The likes of you and your ilk(Sharif brothers) have raped and desecrated not only Punjab but all of Pakistan.

We are probably less than 2% of the population and at individual level we are successful. If people of Punjab have elected someone its not because of race.

Rich can contribute and have been. Tata with their charity and Jamshedpur, Ambani with Jio and their oil refinery have propelled out country GDP. Adani who is a new entrant of billionaire club has announced 16K crore charity.

i throw my penny knowledge, in to explaining. The rich fiflthy indians have difficulty accessing high quality services and goods in india without exuastly researching and paying higher price then they would in usa/uk and there is accountability.
