It is dying. If it wasn’t we wouldn’t have the issue of Seriki language (a Punjabi language) or establishment of South Punjab province which I know you are supportive of in the past in other threads. You are dividing an already broken Punjab.

You know and I know nobody makes racial distinctions in Punjab. Maybe it’s your frustration or something. Sharifs may be Kashmiri but the party is overwhelmingly full of Punjabi MPs and other leaders.

Kashmiris may not be the warrior class and that’s fine. We are who we are. We were rather known for being scholars and culturally and artistically gifted. Our other Dardic brothers, Gilgit Baltis freed themselves without any help from Pakistan and have been a major part of Pakistan’s reputation in the world in terms of tourism.

I am not a Punjabi nationalist nor do I have anything against Kashmiris, but like I said you have been writing negatively about Punjabis rather frequently.

There is no such thing as warrior class. Anybody can be a warrior if they have an ounce of self respect and a bit of bravery.

Perhaps you should tone down your negativity towards Punjabis or rather specify who exactly you are criticizing. Generalizing all Punjabis would be say...almost as stupid as generalizing all Kashmiris for the actions of Sharif brothers.

US is going head over heels trying to build a strategic partnership with India, the same way it did with Europe. Which means expect a LOT more Indians to make it into the US.

In any case I have ZERO interest in moving to the US or help my kid move there. US is a police state where school killing and drug abuse is the norm. Its declining public infrastructure and massive social breakdown is staring us in the face. I and my Family is Safer and better served in India than the US.

I will move her to Canada or Australia or UK or New Zealand. Definitely NOT the US.



I am NOT doing it for the money because I am already upper middle class and have considerable clout in society and have relatives in high places and am well networked in India.

My children will have to leave the luxury I provide them to rebuild their own lives outside India. And that is how I want them to live.

My kids are already district/state level players (in 2 sports) and since both me and my brother did our Engineering from govt. colleges and my wife also did her education from a govt. institute and is now the VP in a top insurance company, I am pretty sure my kid is will make it to some good institute in India on their own merit.

I just don't want her to go to an institute which denies her equal opportunity. I don't want her to live in India where they are hounded for standing up for their religion or for speaking the truth.
