Revisiting the tragedy of December 1971

Glad I made you laugh.

Not quite. The facts are simple. The moment the Bengali insurrection began in 1971 the game was over for Pakistan. Had PA had double the forces the result would have been the same. In fact had it been US Army the results would have been the same. Or the much vaunted IA in the same situation.
Why are we still discussing this matter. 1971 happened a long time ago.
Only the older generation remember it.

The new generation don't care about Bangladesh. Who cares now, Bangladesh is now an independent country.

We have accepted it.

Since the 1965 war was based on a big lie and was presented to the nation a great victory, the Army came to believe its own fiction and has used since, Ayub as its role model and therefore has continued to fight unwanted wars — the 1971 war and the Kargil fiasco in 1999

All resulted in decisive Pakistani victory

I still remember my parents talking about it and my dad having animated discussions. In those days almost every member of my extended family in Pakistan was either a soldier or officer in Pakistan Army and my maternal uncle was in Bangla in 1971. So yes, it is a long time ago but my feelings are still quite harsh about it.

So indians don't lie?????............

Do you have genuine, honest, reliable and irrefutable evidence to support your claims?

Being non-bengali doesn't make one a European........

PS Do you have any reliable and honest eveidence for your claims about kargil?

LOL.

It was all over the papers, but that, given mutual accusations of 'fake news', are not likely to convince you. There are videos of the bodies being buried in the first instance, and some being taken back much later by representatives of the PA.

So you DON'T have ANY real, honest, genuine and irrefutable evidence. Just indianisms. Which means you are not telling the truth.

Even my father was working as a Chemical Engineer in Chittagong back in 1971. But he said it was a Bangladeshi man who saved him from the Mukti Bahini murderers.

As you know we were from West Pakistan at the time, and eventually we are Pakistanis obviously.

.
The same people who calim 90,000 Pakistani soldiers surrendered are the same people who claim that 50,000 Pakistani troops killed 3 million bengalis and raped 10 million bengali women in 6 weeks in 1971. Till date, NO ONE in nearly 50 years has been able to provide HONEST, RELIABLE, GENUINE & IRREFUTABLE evidence that this actually happened.

I agree with you. The figure was, and is, an exaggeration. But the point is elsewhere; not even a single case should have happened.

.
So there were good and bad Bangladeshis at the time. Likewise there were good and bad Pakistanis in Bangladesh.

But I have to admit the West Pakistanis did more wrong. Thats why we lost East Pakistan.

.
So anyone else wants to come up with another number of Pakistani POWs? Or shall we agree that re-writing history by the Rusted "Junk" Junk was an epic fail?

Link posted already ;)

Okay

I retire for the night.

Thanks for good laughs. And tell RUSTY to watch less P0RN and use his actual head more :D

@PAKISTANFOREVER Unfortunately it is true. That is why I consider Musharaf a low down scum. Worse then Nawaz and that is saying something. Please look at the name of this motorway interchange [Capt. Karnal Sher Khan] and then google it.
