Revisiting Osama bin Ladin's fake raid

Seymour Hersh is telling some truths, and some lies.

It's true that the raid took place with the full cooperation of Kayani. A very senior retired ISI official told me that the helicopters used were shipped to Karachi and transported to the location where they flew from.

The lies he tells is that Osama was killed and his body taken. Osama was never there, only his family.

There was a news clip on YouTube from a Pakistani news channel with a woman reporter interviewing eye witnesses in Urdu. I think it was Meher Bukhari. This is what the eye witnesses said:

They saw two helicopters in the air. One came down to the compound, but it exploded. The eye witnesses were there and saw dead bodies of soldiers from the wreck of the helicopter. Then the Pakistan Army came and forced them to leave.

The second helicopter stayed in the air and flew away.

Obviously, they never went into the house or anything. And they never killed a previously dead Osama.

I can't find that news clip on YouTube. It's been scrubbed, but if I find it I'll post it.

sir radar ab point nhi hoty 360 coverage dety hain .
For the mountains and valleys in the west, you need mobile units deployed in each nook and cranny or AWACS coverage from above. Even then detection of specially enhanced stealth helis flying at treetop altitude by PAF in early 2010s was near impossble.

@PanzerKiel may, within OPSEC constraints, be able to elaborate on this.

The Americans called an Army general after the raid commenced at around 3AM if I recall correctly. PAF promptly scrambled when it found out despite all the advcanced stealth measures taken, and the American soldiers on board the helis on the were shitting themselves in fear when they found out PAF F-16s were hunting for them.
No one can defend themselves from a surprise stealth raid by the US, least of all when they expect the US to behave like an ally and have their radars pointed towards their enemy (India). The Americans claimed they were considering a B2 bombing run as well, but that would've caused too much collateral damage.
You are wrong. Those helicopters were not really "stealth". Rathyeon radar system tracked them just fine when they entered from Afghanistan. The COAS and Zardari both knew what was happening.

The entire world knows it was a fake raid. Seymour Hersh exposed this fraud almost a decade ago in his book…GHQ was well aware of what was happening.

According to him, Bin Laden was caught by the ISI as early as 2006. But under Musharraf’s rule it was kept a secret. When Musharraf was ousted, the two new chutiyas Kayani and Pasha (COAS and ISI Chief) decided to approach the Saudis.

Seriously if ISI caught BIn Laden in 2006 and handed them to Washington (especially before midterm elections where the GOP got slaughtered) they would have gotten something tangible

The Saudis paid HUGE AMOUNTS OF MONEY to have him stay in Abbottabad.

The same Kayani and Pasha then approached the Americans. They were basically going what GHQ does best….playing two sides against one another.

The deal was that they would transfer bin Laden‘s body out of Abbottabad to the Hindu Kush, whereby a fake battle would take place….and then the world would be told of bin Laden’s death.

Barack Obama decided to throw everyone under the bus….and announced on the very same day of bin Laden’s death. He was up for re-election.

So basically you are saying that OBL was at Abbottabad and the US did take him out without us knowing? How does that make it a fake raid then?

I’d love to find out where Kayani and Pasha live….I bet they’re abroad.

Kayani lives in Pindi, near Army house.

Last I checked Pasha was also in Pindi, but don't know now.

Why in God's name would the US ship the helicopters to Karachi by boat when they could fit them inside a C17 and fly them to let's say Shahbaz or Mushaf?

That's what I was told. Maybe they flew them from Karachi to the take off location on a plane.

Makes absolutely zero sense.

A ship even from let's say Abu Dhabi would take a week or so to dock to Karachi. By C17 it takes 4 hours.

Secondly, potential for offloading a helicopter, or a container containing it from a military ship and arousing suspicion from dock workers is too high.

There are always different ways to do the same thing. Fly, ship, truck.

The person who told me this was senior enough to know the details of what happened and has no reason to lie. He was already retired at the time of the raid but retired people have access to the truth about everything.

The main point is that the helicopters didn’t come from Afghanistan. They flew from some base inside Pakistan.

Sure sure.

The next time I see him I’ll ask for more details. If he tells me, we’ll know the exact location within Pakistan from where the helicopters took off. They certainly didn’t come from Afghanistan.

Oh I'm not disagreeing that they might have took off from Pakistan, but I just find it hard to believe that the US shipped the helis to Karachi instead of flying them in a C17.

They did not. A forward logistics and supply area was indeed staged inside Pakistan, without being noticed.
