Report - Modi government quietly working to revoke the indus water treaty with pakistan

. . . .
Feb 27 has set a benchmark. Indians will never dare invest billions on a dam that affects Pakistan now..If they do Feb 27 will happen again or maybe assets on ground, this time on those dams..World wont do much as India would have already lost its case upon abrogation of the treaty.

This apart from the fact that there is a counter to all this "stopping water" BS.. i.e Pakistan builds small dams downstream on its end as shock-absorbers when water is let go by Indians. Also whatever waterIndians stop to inundate themselves or use will ultimately flow down towards sea level via aquifers and be retrievable for Pakistan so this whole theory of stopping water is BS and just to make Indians voters happy and get elected again...In reality this is just a political gimmick Indian politicians use for their Anti-Pakistan rhetoric but will never dare step on as they know it has consequences and and a cost which hindu banya cant ignore..I haven't even come to the point where China gets involved as its the origin for many Indian rivers..
Do you understand that if India attacks pakistani dams, Pakistan will face droughts? There is very little Pakistan can do by attacking Indian dams. Unless Pakistan can fly deep inside and attack major dams like Bakra Nangal, it is indignificant to India. But in case of Pakistan, most dams are near Indian borders as Indus flows near Indian borders and hence India will find it easy to target them. If India targets these dams, entire Pakistani water supply will be destroyed and there will be nothing Pakistan could do. India can win a war with Pakistan by simply destroying most of the dams on Indus river near Kashmir and Sindh and Pakistan will simply starve to death

Modi is hell bent on a war which will decimate this entire region. Violating IWT or stopping Pakistani water will leave us with no other choice but to go to war. It will be either war or let or country die a slow death. May the better sense previal among indians and they elect sensible people rather than this Madarchod Modi.
War will decimate Pakistan whereas India will stay strong. Pakistan is not going to war because it is weak and not because it wants peace. So, there is very little Pakistan can do even if it wants to do.

You're a knob if you think we are afraid of death. we will wipe you out as well, before vanishing for eternity

A fair treaty would be to give 50-50 share not giving exclusive control to any river. Be it Ravi river which is now a dry land area in Pakistan or Indus whose water now has no benefits for India than letting it flow into Pakistan.

A fair treaty is all Indus and its tributaries and linked rivers goes to pakistan. Indus doesn't even flow in India. It originates in China 2 percent, begin its journey in Indian occupied Kashmir 3 percent and flows in Pakistan 95 percent.

.
Even if India doesn't abrogate IWT and just start to use its full share under the treaty, Pakistan will be in deep trouble. We are letting too much water from our share to flow into Pakistan and despite that, there is water shortage.

That is what you think or what you people are brainwashed into believing. We are not weak or incapable on the contrary we can easily decimate indian infrastructure along border and deep inside india with precision guided weapons i.e. cruise missile. We will not have to prolong that war as just hitting required targets and creating a stalemate will force india back on table. India is not capable of fighting a long war itself so please don't gloat like an idiot. After events of 27 feb you should know better.

During kargil war we had no BVR capability now we do. In previous wars we had next to none precision guided weapons l.e babur, raad, Hatf, takbir etc now we do. There is no strategy where you can capture major areas without loosing some yourself. Anyways couple of hits by cruise missiles can do the job we wont even have to enter india.

You people have built a mighty Military force but we built up our armed forces for sole purpose of defeating india.

According to International law we will be well n our rights to attack bcz any attempts to block water to another country is an international crime. There is no angle where you will come out unharmed.

If Indus doesn't flow in India, why do you need Indus water treaty? Let's dismantle it.
Because it is not a Indian River
It flows in Pakistan

IWT takes this into account

Why don't you use a nuclear missile if you really don't fear death? What are you waiting for?

The international law is law made by the west when they were powerful after winning WW2. Countries like Zimbabwe, Zambia, India, Myanmar, China etc hardly has any say. It is outdated and has no credibility left.

In Kargil war, even India did not have BVR. BVR technology is a new one which came after 1990s when semiconductor became miniaturised enough to be able to be fitted on missiles. But the changes after Kargil have been many and in Indian favour. India developed its own BVR, radars, SAM, BMD, satellite systems, long range ICBM, massive ship building capability, Su30 indigenous manufacturing with full TOT along with development of Tejas, tanks and artillery manufacturing and many other developments which have made India much stronger. Pakistan has only developed Babur cruise missile but has not been able to develop radar, jets, satellites etc. So, India is at a massive advantage as of now.

India is not ready for long wars and neither is any country in the world ready for long wars as that is an internationally accepted norm to avoid other countries from panicking. So, the strategy is to maintain operational preparedness according to threat perceptions. Nevertheless, if the global situation changes, then India can make itself prepared for long wars in just a year's time. Pakistan is not capable of doing that as it has no indigenous technology.

Pakistan has been paid for losing 3 rivers.

It's not that much actually. And Pakistan wastes a lot of its own water. If India uses its share to the fullest, the impact is minimal.

.
Pakistan simply hit these dams in Kashmir as Pakistan does not recognise 350 or 370 whatever it is
Pakistan should have already destroyed these dams as they are in Pakistani land as per pakistani stand

.
Disagreements over water resources will provide the strongest grounds for future wars in this cursed subcontinent; both of us will forget about Kashmir and the people that live in it.
We always know you will forget ,we just want to show kashmiries water flowing in rivers is more important than blood flowing in the jugular veins
