Nur Ul Amin stadium?
jab tak atom bomb banane kay lye funds or dosri fields me maali madad kar raha tha ,, tb tak bohat acha insaan tha. abi itni jaldi uska name "bad name" ho gya ?? to be remember that it's U.S who planned, and compile the plan to remove Qaddafi .. for what reason ? Oh ! because the libya is the only country which have HIGH OCTANE OIL below their soil. HOPE u will be aware that when U.S.A.F attacked libya . they only bombed universities hospitals and oil fields. and at the end sign an aggrement with the newly established libya government which state that "those high octane oil deposits" will be the property of U.S for 200 (+-) years as the cost of those attacks which U.S.A.F conduct in libya ...what you guys say abut rename or restore old name of Qaddafi stadium ? its not a shame we have name of a dictator which is part of history now and killed like a dog by own people i don't think stadium deserve this bad name now . old name was lahore stadium or rename it to any pakistani hero name . how can we rise our voice which reach to PCB officials ?
originally Lahore Stadium, the facility was renamed in 1974 in honor of the former Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi rename qaddafi stadium
On 23 October 2011 the Pakistan Cricket Board discussed renaming the stadium following the death of Gaddafi, to support the new government in Libya. The Punjab Olympic Association made a similar request in late October 2011 to the provincial chief minister, "I don't think his profile is inspirational enough to link with our cricket stadium's identity." As of April 2012, however, it does not appear that the stadium's name will be changed after all.
Ghaznavi was a iranian and Qasim was a Arabic general who only concurred a part of modern day pakistan. Then why you name your stadium on them why not on original kings of your region like a Bachan Pala or Prithvi Pala.ghazal post: 7191758 said:rename it after the name of Mehmood Gznavi or Mohammad Bin Qassim etc.... right indian fellows????
