Why hasn't anybody demanded that the Iranian gov't explain how it allowed a civilian airliner to take off from a shared civilian-military airfield heading almost directly towards a warship in the middle of its battle?

They said they 'thought' an F-14 is approaching them. What kind of dumbass doesn't see the difference between an Airbus and a F-14? Basically you are demonstrating how dumb American military is. And how do you ask a civilian airliner to introduce itself on military channel?

Btw that's not the reality. After 241 U.S marines were burned alive in Beirut, U.S was always looking for a way for revenge, it gut butthurt, but the only way it could do it was shooting down a civilian airliner with 66 kids in it, besides helping a maniac who was using chemical weapons on his own people and another country during the war. That's the United States of America for you in a nutshell, and how low it goes when necessary.

Though, we paid back the favor to you in Iraq 2 decades later, and you know what I'm talking about.

Nobody said the fault was exclusive to one party or another. The U.S. paid compensation of more than $200K per victim.
