I would never recommend RAV4 for family usage it doesn't give a reliable performance like other SUVs at any environment, go for 4runner 2006-2012, 6/8 cylinders, sports edition, 4WD, 4.0L engine.

We don't have new models of 4Runner available here.
The closest we have is Toyota Kluger with a 3.5L motor and AWD. It does fit within budget (a second hand one) however i have heard that it's very heavy on fuel.

i understand what you mean, most of the dodgy mob mob reside around canning vale. Have you lived here in WA?

I think Armadale or Midland has that honour.

Those are the worse areas including Gosnells, Bassendean
Has he got an online ad for the CRV? This will be the best way for us as we would be able to see pics etc as well.

Agree, i see lot of 4wd enthusiastic in their patrols thrashing around in hills and muddy fields, that thing just goes.

This SUV will be mainly used for around town family transport so don't need big patrol.

I test drove RAV4, its ok does the job but nothing special and the interior is Fugly.
