'Puppy' Remark: Delhi BJP Vice President Quits

You really are thick. You said fanning flames, now you are trying to wiggle out of it. Show where that allegation was made against RG. I really don't think it is sensible to start out with "my mother is from Bhagalpur"...etc, I will let that pass without comment. I'm debating only you & you still haven't put up.

Maybe not fanning the flames exactly but not cutting out the gas supply either....amounts to the same either way;);)

For god sake read the article. Former CM stating clearly that RG announced not to transfer SP after VHP guys protested when he was going to circuit house. And SP dwivedi was the person who fueled the riots and took side with extremists and later he faced the legal actions.

Oh, I read it & unlike you, actually understood what was written. Still arguing on a different plane, eh? Fanning, anyone?

So he knowingly didn't do anything to stop Riots and let people burning?

.
Just an observation -- Mr. Modi's national stature or the possibility of it, generates a great deal of interest - BUT, is it just me or does it seem to others that it is not Mr. Modi's program or proposals that generate debate and excitement, instead it's his person - is that healthy or mature?

Knowingly? Probably not. Stupid? On hindsight, very much so and he really had no constitutional grounds to overrule a CM (His decision unless ratified by the CM had no legal standing). Fanning flames like you suggested (& attempted to show that a link said that), that would be a No.

Don't know, maybe we should ask Obama.......

. .
So Mr. Modi is the equivalent of a Black man of national stature in the US? Interesting

There is not inconsiderable similarity if you look at it. He has the complete support of a minority(right wing Hindus)and his main agenda is "hope" of a departure from business as usual. He has some hardcore opponents (Obama-conservative whites, Modi-Muslims) and he like Obama is trying his best to get just enough of the "middle" to add to his core support & win. Obama's inexperience counted against him, Modi's "bad experience" counts against him. The same hype, the same over the top welcome of the messiah.....very similar, me thinks:D.

Its not my fault..

The question is, not matter what his program or proposals, should a man with this kind of a background be allowed to become PM. If einstein was a serial murderer, would you allow him to live even if he promised to discover E= MC sqaure for you?

What background?

.
Well, clearly Mr. Modi has considerable support -- What I was getting at is that mr. Modi's programs or proposals do not get attention but he does for what it is alleged he has done --- that is to say that for a politician of national stature, Indians do not seem to be electrified at the prospect of a change in the quality of politics he offers.

Rioting, mass murdering etc. You know that sort of stuff...

Not surprising right? South Asia is famous for pickign up such incompetent people, even if a person with half a competence appears he'll be looked at as a 'HERO'. In countries like the US if an average senator/ governor doesn't do at least what Modi has done, he'd be thrown out of his job.

All I can say is double standard. Period

No matter how big the lie; repeat it often enough and the masses will regard it as the truth. That's the danger of over-playing the propaganda... & sounds like you are one of the perfect victims of that!!
