As for space ship, we are trying to build it, but we do have world's largest network of Remote Sensing Satellites.

In past wars IA won armoured conflicts not with T series but NATO tanks such as Vickers/Vijayanta and Centurions because of thier thick armour and abitity to survive enemy AT rounds. Sadly those tanks are retired and IA is left with T series which are not known for crew survivability and our enemies are equipped with better AT weapons.

The best protected tank in our arsenal is Arjun but its heavy, but so is every other modern tank and they all proved thier worth because their operators did not whine that bridges were weak or tanks were too heavy. They found ways to bypass such roadblocks. Meanwhile our Army moans and bit.ches and finds excuses to reject capable platforms such as Arjun.

I don't understand; I was under the impression, an impression made so by some of the more informed Indian posters here, that because of Arjun's superior weight distribution along its chassis the pressure exerted on the ground is quite less than it would be for a Tank of that tonnage & unless I'm mistaken someone even compared it to be less than that exerted by the T-90s ! :undecided:

Good point and I have seen this raised numerous times. Just to clarify the air....the pressure on the ground decides if the road/land can sustain the tank to travel over it without either yielding like sand or getting ripped off like usually happens if you see a construction bulldozer over road. A lower ground "pressure = force per unit area" makes it easier to navigate ground that has the tendency to yield like sand. Thus a tank requires a lower pressure to easily maintain high speeds over unpaved ground.

The overall weight determines the "force" that is exerted in totality. Bridges are determined to sustain a maximum force so even if a vehicle exerting a low pressure can cause the bridges to fail if it exerts a higher force than the posted limit.

Crude example: a 1 pond knife can slice through butter but wont yield the butter if kept sideways. A heavy metal ball will sqah the butter nonetheless ;)

inDIA should not build these bridges in case of war with pakistan who knows how well they serve which side think about it if pakistan masses up and the bridges in punjab can play in their favour

What you are saying is true. The Ground Pressure of the Arjun in terms of Kg/cm2 is less than the T-90. Which means that will exert less pressure on 'plain ground'. A Bridge is not 'plain ground'. It is itself a 'span of a certain length' suspended on the ends of the span on either piers or end embankments. Which is "point loading" not "area loading" like plain ground. All the weight of the "Tank + Bridge" is now being transmitted through those "loading points that the Bridge Spans" are resting on.

Now let me tell you that the ground pressure of a 60kg woman wearing stilletto heels may be more than the ground pressure of an Arjun Tank ! :D

The only way out may then be to rebuild the Bridges or carry Portable Bridging Eqpt.

in terms of Kg/cm2???? even 58t cotton on the bridge can broke the bridge, no relation with Kg/cm2, if has relation with Kg/cm, one firing bullet can make the bridge collapse.

All over the world , weapon should suit the battlefield environment, or you will fail. Can you tell to Pakistan“Pls make your bridge strong, or our Ajun will fell off from the bridge”

Arjun will used in defensive formation which make in formidable wall which no PAK tanks can think to touch, last time on Solider armed with 106mm recoilless rifle , blown PAK Tank like a crackers.

As per you PAK tank were worst because they blow with recoilless rifle only. Therefore whole concept of tank is failed for PAK and China.

Also IA now armed Arjun Tank with Mine clearing equipments , now Arjun will escort T-90 Tank in PAK territory for further action.

IA already deployed Arjun in Raj in Defensive formation and now planning to armed Arjun with offensive formation. IA knows best what to use and where to use then you.

It also applies to the feet of a walking person or machine. Ground pressure is measured in pascals (Pa) which corresponds to the EES unit of pounds per square inch (psi). Average ground pressure can be calculated using the standard formula for average pressure: P = F/A.[2] In an idealized case, i.e. a static, uniform net force normal to level ground at Earth sea level, this is simply the object's weight divided by contact area. The ground pressure of motorized vehicles is often compared to the ground pressure of a human foot, which can be 60 - 80 kPa while walking or as much as 13 MPa for a person in spike heels.[3]
Increasing the size of the contact area on the ground (the footprint) in relation to the weight decreases the ground pressure. Ground pressure of 14 kPa (2 psi) or less is recommended for fragile ecosystems like marshes.[4] Decreasing the ground pressure increases the flotation, allowing easier passage of the body over soft terrain. This is often observed in activities like snowshoeing.
