What exactly has Showbaz done for Punjab?

Remember Punjab Cardiology Institute disaster? Spurious drugs took lives of heart patients.

In one of the post-natal care deptts of a public hospital, mice gnawed at infants in incubators killing them.

How many times PMLN has been in govt in Punjab? 6 times.

Did it ever try to do police reforms in those 6 terms? Punjab police is a Gullu Butt police.

Did PMLN in 6 terms in the province provide clean drinking water to all Punjabis?

Did it improve its public schools and public hospitals?

WTF do the PLMN talk about? These goons have no vision. Of course, how can goons have nay vision!

. .
Good lord, the Noora Logic responses made my head hurt.

Look, these things are certain
-KPK was developed greatly in 17 months, way more than any party before that has done and way more efficiently than PMLN has ever done anywhere.

-Elections were rigged massively. Almost all the constituencies opened were full of fake or unidentifiable votes. Now the point people make over here is that 'only 20 seats' or 'only 4 seats' are not enough to force the PM to resign. This same point is also against PMLN, why were they so scared of it? Unless they rigged the elections, what was there to fear from opening just 4 constituencies? What made them sideline and avoid PTI's demands for FOURTEEN MONTHS?

-PMLN has been in power, in Punjab or the whole country, SIX TIMES. A few metros or roads don't change the fact that Pakistan's situation is not improving but DETERIORATING.

So now, if you're so much in favor of 'democracy' and 'civilian government', tell me one thing: If PMLN could rig the elections once and get away with it, what's stopping anyone else from rigging it? What's stopping PPP, for example? If politicians can get away with so much cheating, where is the accountability? Where is the Democracy?
This kind of democracy is worse than Army rule. Army rule stops the country's progress but atleast it stabilizes it. These politicians start sucking it so much that it gets worse instead of improving.

I'm sick and tired of hearing this dumb question about what PTI govt in KPK has done during their 17 months rule? Here is a food for thought for all those who challenge PTI and IK?

Let's do a bit of history and basic numeracy:

Nawaz Shareef

  • Finance Minister Punjab from 1979 to 1985 (72 months)
  • CM Punjab from 1985 to 1988 (36 months)
  • CM Punjab from 1988 to 1990 (24 months)
  • PM Pakistan 1990 to 1993 (30 months)
  • PM Pakistan 1997 to 1999 (30 months)
  • PM Pakistan 2013 to date (17 months)
  • Total Governance = 209 months
Shahbaz Shareef

  • Cabinet Minister Punjab 1985 to 1990 (60 months)
  • CM Punjab 1990 to 1993 (30 months)
  • CM Punjab 1997 to 1999 (30 months)
  • CM Punjab 2008 to date (75 months)
  • Total Governance = 195 months
Total Governance PML-N (209 + 195) = 404 months

Pakistan Peoples Party

  • ZA Bhutto 1972 to 1977 (60 months)
  • BB 1988 to 1990 (20 moths)
  • BB 1993 to 1997 (33 months)
  • Zardari 2008 to 2013 (60 months)
  • Sindh Govt about (203 months)
  • Total Governance PPP = 376 months
TOTAL GOVERNANCE PMLN + PPP (404 + 376) = 780 MONTHS

Now tell me what have these two parties achieved in 780 MONTHS? And what right do they have to ask PTI and IK for their 17 months performance?

Please be mindful that 17 is 2.18% of 780. Which means those who ruled for 97.82% of the democracy period in Pakistan are holding those accountable whose total governance is a mere 2.18%.

Those who are gonna come up with: Army didn't let PMLN / PPP complete their terms etc cr@p. These 17 months of KP govt have also been troublesome. They have leg pulling coalition partners who are whining a lot at almost every issue since start, they have terrorism issues in province since KP is right next to a battle zone and no investor is willing to go their etc. The point is, every govt had issues of their own, stop whining and let us know what exactly has been done to exploit the natural resources, minerals, man power of this nation till date?

When it comes to their own accountability the answer is: System is in danger, democracy will be overthrown, ban this channel, ban that anchor, replace that institutional head, change that Judge, and so on and on.

SHAME ON THE TWO PARTIES!

Can I challenge you?

You won't run away right? Because I don't want to offer explaination and you don't understand it.

Ik doesn't want Army rule. Never did. 'Third Umpire' was the Awaam.
Has anyone in other parties tried to snatch your gov in KP. NO.
Yes, actually. Very much. Aside from constant statements, lies and general hostility, they have tried to a pass no-confidence motion against KPK's PTI CM.

proven or unproven. doesn't matter. right?
Matters a lot. Proven or Unproven, investigation and reforms would be very good. Only one who can be against these things are people who rig elections, and PMLN was clearly against them. So, the most logical explanation is that PMLN was involved in the rigging. Either way, they were wrong to delay the investigations and disregard demands for reforms.
Anyways 2018, vote them out.
Yeah yeah, sure. Without electoral reforms the next elections can be rigged very easily. PMLN has not let these reforms happen, heck they didn't even want to let an investigation take place, they delayed it for 14 months.

hhahaahh

Looks like Zadari Bhutto asking his mum dad for money/food instead of getting a job.

hahahah.

True Burger guy. very true burger.
Every Pakistani's situation is like in the picture. Burger my hairy ***.

He meant army

When objected, he changed it to "God"

you are now being loyal follower of cult, changing it further.

This is obfuscation at its best.

p.s. Bhai you are in UK. Get education and get a job. It is not Pak gov responsibility to feed you in UK.

Why the hell would a leader tell the whole world his sinister and secret plan anyways? Seriously dude, if he had any plan with the army, he would take care not to tell everyone about it.
I don't follow Imran Khan. I just agree with his ideas and party. I wouldn't care for him if he wasn't right.
My mistake about the awaam part. First he said it's Allah and he followed that by saying that 'faisla aap [awaam] ka hai'.

Bhai you are in UK. Get education and get a job
I am not in UK. I am here temporarily and will be back to Pakistan soon. Do I need to make this my signature? I've said it a dozen times already. All my education and life is in Pakistan.

No, he didn't and he never said that either secretly or openly to any of his other insafians. If army was on his side, how come it took them so long to intervene and also COAS did nothing when violence was ongoing at Constitution Avenue.

Yes they do...Can you tell me the exact stats of Punjab before SS came into the pix and now after how many every years he has been in it?

And compare where he was in 17 mths after his FIRST appointment....And also tell me how was Punjab before he took was it even close to KPK? No it was always way better than KPK ALAWAYS KPK never led Punjab so for a party to turn it around in 17 mths is REALLY SOMETHING and if you are blind to that FACT then you def ARE blind!

Sister,

Punjab budget 2008/09, before SS came to power was only Rs 490 billion (which is KPK total budget today) which included Rs 180 billion for carrying Public Sector Development Programmes (PSDP) as compared to current Punjab budget of total Rs 1 trillion in 2014...that was the time where both KPK and Punjab were suffering from daily terrorist bombings.

Since Shahbaz Shariff took over as PMLN Provincial govt came into power in 2008/2009: Punjab Finance Minister Tanvir Ashraf Kaira, present the budget with the income estimate in the revenue account for 2009-10 is Rs 423.5 billion, while the Punjab province would receive Rs 321 billion from the National Finance Commission (NFC) under the federal divisible pool. He said the federal government would also provide Rs 11 billion to the province through grants and direct payments. He said the province would collect Rs 49.7 billion through taxes and Rs 41.8 through non-tax revenues.

Expenditures: The minister said the government has estimated expenditure of Rs 314.8 billion, including subsidies of Rs 30 billion, for the upcoming fiscal year. The subsidies include Rs 6.5 billion for the sasti roti scheme, and Rs 13 billion for food stamps, in addition to initiatives for poverty reduction, and education programmes, he added.

He said the government would spend Rs 43 billion to improve the law and order situation, which would include purchase of equipment for counter-terrorism operations; Rs 16.2 billion on the Punjab Food Support Scheme; Rs 4.3 billion to computerise the land revenue record; Rs 2 billion on a disaster management service, which would include the government extending the emergency service to more cities of the province; and Rs 3 billion to establish the Daanish School System and Centres of Excellent Authority.

Pro-poor: Kaira said the Annual Development Programme (ADP) was pro-poor. He said the government had provided 15 percent ad hoc relief allowance to its employees, adding it had increased the pension of retired employees by 15 percent. The Punjab government gave Rs 160 billion ADP in 2008-09, which was 60 percent more than the 2007-08 budget. However, for the upcoming financial year, there is only a nine percent increase in the ADP.

On the other hand: KPK Minister Rahimdad Khan presented on Wednesday a Rs 214.2 billion tax-free budget in the provincial assembly for the 2009-10 fiscal year, revealing a Rs 3.1 billion deficit in revenue receipts and expenditures.

‪#‎Peshawar‬ Development Authority completed solar electrification of Hayatabad Peshawar.

‪#‎NayaKPK‬ ‪#‎NayaPakistan‬

Peshawar Development Authority completed solar electrification of Hayatabad, Peshawar. We are not only innovating of creating cheap electricity for all of Pakistan, but are also working on ways to reduce the consumption via innovative solutions.

The pictures you posted about a section of Peshwar solar make over, Punjab has already completed long time ago, even small cities like Gujrawala has these LED Solar lights all over, infact the connection between Lahore- Gujrawala main road connections have all LED solar lights.

The day Shabaz Sharif turns a neglected province say Blaochistan around will be the day you can clap your hands!

Add on:
Solar power usages

Students of CECOS University in Peshawar's Hayatabad area say they have built a working prototype of a solar-powered rickshaw that will not only save drivers the fuel costs, but will also be environment-friendly.

“We want to provide the local public such transportation means which are clean, free from noise pollution, will save the expense of petrol, and are also safe for the drivers and passengers,” says Mohammad Hilal Khan, the head of the project team that built the ‘green rickshaw’.

The environment-friendly rickshaw is completely automatic, and can attain speeds of up to 40 kilometres per hour.

Compared to regular rickshaws, the vehicle does not have a CNG or petrol-based engine but is equipped with batteries that are charged through electricity generated from solar energy.

“This is the cheapest form of energy — it reduces our dependency on petrol, diesel or any such fuel," says student Ali Shah Khan, who was involved in the project.

The 'green rickshaw' project, aimed at introducing environment-friendly transportation in the local market, was funded by the Directorate of Science and Technology in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at a cost of just under Rs300,000 (USD3,000).

The young engineers say that, if properly supported by the government, the idea can be introduced into the public transport system.

“We need to further improve this and take it to the commercial level so that we can also improve durability. The idea can be improved if supported by the government,” says Suhaib Khan, a teacher supervising the students on the project.

The young engineers are hopeful that the technology will also help in reducing road traffic accidents.

and the post I posted before this

It is a very strange thing to ask that a Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Shariff, you asking him to turn around Balochistan, which does not even comes under its authority. Shahbaz Shariff has completely changed Lahore in the Paris of East, Look at Multan, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Sialkot, Rawalpindi now, a 70% change over to what it was in 2008. Fact is under Prime MInister Nawaz Balochistan new government with Balochi BNP nationists are much happier and supportive. It is a successful Baloch Provincial govt with lot of money at thier disposal fpr welfare purposes, Gwadar is handed to China and its under rapid transformation, the road and rail links are being completed in Balochistan.

I mean I can put, put more at more, the fact is the people of Punjab as well as people of Sindh are very happy with thier provincial governments work, and the only butt hurt person is the KPK govt PTI chariman Imran Khan, who is responsible for wasting Punjabis money, and time, but also responsible for economic disruption, and Chinese leader postponed of visit. Tell me what has PTI and Imran Khan contributed till now in dharnas and protests and jalsas for the welfare of the people of Punjab or Sindh or Balochistan or even KPK provnice, other than daily crying and whinning self-fishly about his defeats and humilations. Sorry 17-20 seats showing up as fraudalent does not mean over 300 seats and whole elections whom most are fairly won become void, the game is over for PTI and Imran Khan now, and even PAT has left you all alone.

. .
Sorry but it was your ik who made these fake promises

PTI will end corruption in 19 days, terrorism in 90 days: Imran Khan – The Express Tribune

Now people ask these questions because of these unrealistics claims/statements of Ik
This

He didn't say oh give us full 5 year term, he said give me 90 days. That's what many of us are pissed off about. To add more fire, we didn't care if he takes 5 years instead of 90 days, but he has his focused elsewhere and is hell bent on destroying Pakistan. We want to vote in 2018 on governence of 5 years, not 17 months or on how many people he brought to his dharna.

I also want to add you have to completely disregard PMLN and PPP performance before 2008, in its entirely.

Reason being, Nawaz was puppet of army and there was a political war going on between army and democracy. One hand were the league being funded by army and other hand we had ppp. Both were hell bent on ending others term, through courts or presidents (presidents and army chief being rewarded). Moreover it was a war of political ideology. One favoured nationalization and other privatization.

even the last PPP term, zardari just wanted to get by. No confrontations with military, reward as many people so no one goes against, subsidies to keep people quiet etc

.
No, he didn't and he never said that either secretly or openly to any of his other insafians. If army was on his side, how come it took them so long to intervene and also COAS did nothing when violence was ongoing at Constitution Avenue.

Bhai meray,

He misread and was mislead by the likes of Sh. Rasheed.

Sh. Rasheed is on record saying army will intervene.

and Sh. Rasheed has been making IK to dance on his tunes. Please come closer to pakistan. Sitting in Norway and listening to theories will not help.

I say this with all my sincerity.

Sh. Rasheed ruined IK to the point that I can't even explain.

So sorry to see this nice guy.

But then you have heard. In politics nice guys finish last.
