PDM & company will use all the dirty tactics to get things under their favor, this includes creating violence.

-- PTI needs to be well prepared.

Also no Nawaz Sharif was heavily censored during his speeches mind you, I am yet to see such censorship of Imran Khan's speeches to that extent. Clearly there is a disconnect as to how non compliant with the Establishment they want to be.
He said bajwa Sahab... not Mir jaffar etc.. so stupid move and got banned. Also, IK is banned by some channels anyway.

.
Shahbaz good cop.
Nawaz bad cop.

Dono ki baari aayegi.

They think the establishment are duffers. Well they might not be wrong.

. .
The biggest misconception we in Pakistan in general have is that the COAS is the be all end all of the army. That is not the case.

The PSO's, and specifically a core group (depending on many things) is one which determines things, as is the case in the current times as well. Unless you completely replace the top command of the PA, which cannot happen, you cannot just change a COAS and expect whole sale changes, as things currently stand.

That is why, even if Faiz comes, thinking that he would be IK's personal secretary is just foolish thinking.

Bajwa, Raheel Sharif, Musharraf, yeh sab Nawaz Sharif nay hi lagaye thay...and so was Zia handpicked by Bhutto himself.

That is why when you weigh a person's caste, his political subservience to you, and regard him as your servant, rather than judge him purely on his professional capabilities, you get clusterfcks like this. There is now way either RS or QBJ would have become COAS had the latter been considered.

I am well aware of that but from a political point of view, at least they ll be able to tell their khota hor supporters that they took no dictation like the early 90s & are paying a price for being Sher.
Their Supporters in turn would shout Mian sada Sherrr aey, IK gets a compromised election & is quietly bumped off a year or so down the line, all parties involved get a face saving exit, a new song is released & everything is back to normal again.

  • Latif laments obstacles in the way of a deal with "global money lenders".
  • Says government "sacrificed its politics" for the country.
  • Demands decision on foreign funding case to be pronounced.

PML-N MNA Javed Latif on Sunday claimed that so many "obstacles" are being put in the way of a deal with "global money lenders" that would save the country from default that "it seems unlikely it can be fulfilled".

The remarks by the senior party leader, considered a close confidant of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and a loyalist of her father, Nawaz Sharif, came during a press conference in Islamabad.

On July 14, the IMF announced that its staff and Pakistani authorities had reached a staff-level agreement on policies to complete the combined 7th and 8th reviews of Pakistan’s Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
The agreement is subject to approval by the IMF’s executive board, following which Pakistan will get $1.17 billion, bringing the total disbursements under the programme to about $4.2 billion.

The path to the renewed IMF agreement, however, has been paved with painful policy decisions the coalition government has had to make to ensure the funds are disbursed.
"We sacrificed our politics to save the state," Latif said. "We want to forget the past troubles and move forward for Pakistan. We made the sacrifice for a great cause."

Referring to commentary on IMF requirements, he said: "People say the country should be run by technocrats.
"Some say there should be a presidential system in the country, some say the 18th Amendment should be abolished."

'Man who gifted us CPEC disqualified'

In his presser, the lawmaker also delved into legal matters.
He mentioned party Quaid Nawaz Sharif's lifelong disqualification from public office by the Supreme Court, lamenting that the man who "gifted CPEC to Pakistan was disqualified".
He also spoke about how the national leadership and political parties were being weakened deliberately. "Today, obstacles are being put in the way of the national government," Latif added.
"If there was an empowered government, Nawaz Sharif would have returned," the lawmaker said.
Praising Nawaz Sharif's ideology as something that would "guarantee Pakistan's survival", the lawmaker claimed a majority of the country also believed that was the case.
He said the case on whether Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari's ruling to not count ten PML-Q votes and hand Hamza Shehbaz victory in the CM election should be heard by full court.
Yesterday, the coalition government released a statement demanding a full court hear the matter.
He also demanded the decision on the PTI's prohibited funding case should be pronounced by the ECP. "A decision on foreign funding should come within 15 days."
He then lambasted PTI chief Imran Khan for leading the country to "civil war".

I meant N league was playing that game. They aren't simpletons either. Mariam has a big beef with Army, not so long ago she used to threaten them with videos too.
Then sorry to say bro you too fell in the trap
In this dirty politics there are no permanent friends and enemies. Whatever beef N league has with the army , they will always get in bed with the army whenever the need arises.
Today army is supporting them , they will support army yesterday they will bad mouth against the neutrals when they try to bring in some other political party into the scene.Read the history of this country before you try to refute me.

Oh that is already well underway.

The old good cop bad cop routine is back in action...will it be successful? I think yes to an extent, but not at the scale it has been before.

N league ka masla yeh hai, at least do maslay, that they are still stuck in the 90's and think strong arm tactics work in this current age of information. They might have the mainstream media bought off to a large extent, but the source of news has changed now and people aren't that gullible.

Secondly, N league is still banking all it's strategy on the good cop bad cop game, and thinks dunya bhi N league ko aisay hi dekhti hai, Nawaz camp and Shahbaz camp. The people view it as PML-N, PML-N took power, they have a PM, they have a CM, they have govt. People don't think Shahbaz Sharif ki hakoomat hai, ya Shahbaz Sharif sab kar raha hai, ya Shahbaz camp hai. That's good for internal party meetings and TV shows, but not the voter. People see PML-N doing whatever it is doing, they don't care what camp it is.

Even some people in my own family, who are of the same boomer mentality, are towing this line now. SOon after the by-election, they said keh Shahbaz Sharif nay tabah kar dia hai, NS ki koi nhn sun raha, jaisay woh mota ganja itna bhola bhala gonglu hai. And even now, they want NS to take the lead and throw Shahbaz under the bus. The person in question reveres NS and Maryam, but hates Shahbaz Sharif! Can you imagine!

Ab aglay haftay you will see the narrative keh Mian sahab ko dhoka ho gaya hai, Shahbaz Sharif and his camp didn't tell the true story to Mian sahab, Shahbaz Sharif nay khud deal ki aur agaya even though Mian sahab was against it, even though I can say this on the basis of 110% confirm news that Mian sahab is calling the shots in each and everything since 2 years, and he is the one who did the deal. Shahbaz Sharif can't go into a political meeting without the nod of NS.

This is same guy who threatened to repeat 1971 if Maryam jailed.

Seems like PMLN have special permission from establishment to say whatever the want

O' malang, ithe raakh.
Ais ne khana jangi karni hai, appni biwi ko frying pan, aur khud bellna pakra ke.
At the moment, prohibited funding is on their heads. PTI is relatively clear on it. While PMLN has a major issue to face, the fat face bu**er has accepted that he has taken few crores for his personal expenses from the funding given to the party.
According to the high court ruling, ECP should investigate and announce the results of investigations for all three major parties.
This is going to haunt them more than PTI, idiots.

.
Request to all and pro-PTI to remain civil.
Punjab by belection results given clear signal where majority of Pakistan stand.
Mafia is desperate and fighting its last.
Plus, NEUTRLAS are also exposed.
I see TIDE HAS TURNED.

Exactly,
Those people are willing fools, they believe that crap because they want to believe that crap.

But imagine if Establishment is able to see off this upheaval in emotions and manages to manoeuvre their way out like before. They ll have secured the next 20 years at least.
