no kidding the civilian govt will turn it into a ghetto, there's some truth to it. In multan, cantt seems like a different place than the rest of the city.

I agree man, Safai is nisf Iman.
Baqi de adhey hissey di kher aey.

ghareeb can't afford it and bro stop making me post these jokes you'll get me vigo'ed. I have a life ahead of me man.

Yet Ghareeb still does it though.
Muharram is just around the corner, what better way to commemorate it than raising the flag of resistance and defiance in our life.

PMLN/PPP/JUI-F/MQM are political wings (front face) of establishment.

These parties dont have any public backing/support, they cant even gather 200 people on streets without bribes and thuggery.

In Punjab by elections, despite use of institutional level record rigging and illegal use of force (Arrest of Shahbaz Gill, workers etc). PTI managed to win 15 out of 20 seats. The score would have been 20/20 if elections were free and fair.

Example of true public support:

-- After the mandate stolen fron PTI on Punjab Assembly elections, in 15 minutes protests started all over the country: Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Sialkot, Hyderabad, Quetta, Karachi everywhere. Most populated city Karachi busiest road Shahrah-e-Faisal was packed with Pakistanis protesting against organized rigging.

PTI is single biggest political party in Pakistan, no other party comes close. It truly represents the sentiments and voice of oppressed commoners.

They're playing good cop/bad cop.
One and only sensible post in this thread. Other fell in the trap.
He said this with an approval from the establishment to make people think army is not with N league. Otherwise these nooni cowards don't dare to even get near GHQ gates.
Bajwa is just trying to win back public support and to make PTI weaker. They are trying to make each and every statement of imran khan wrong so he loses public support.
After what Ch shujaat said it's obvious army is still with N league.

This is same guy who threatened to repeat 1971 if Maryam jailed.

Seems like PMLN have special permission from establishment to say whatever the want

Everyone loves to invoke 1971 despite little connection to that event and their current predicaments, honestly that's the problem too. Imagine conflating a decades long struggle and suppression as well as massacres of people to your political party being drawn into a fight with another party.
This is why I am cynical of things, every party is still continuing to put politics up front and national interests behind them.

Also no Nawaz Sharif was heavily censored during his speeches mind you, I am yet to see such censorship of Imran Khan's speeches to that extent. Clearly there is a disconnect as to how non compliant with the Establishment they want to be.

Well I am hoping they would protest outside GHQ for once and I would even join them in such a noble endeavour but wouldn’t it be easy to remove COAS & appoint a new face ?

The biggest misconception we in Pakistan in general have is that the COAS is the be all end all of the army. That is not the case.

The PSO's, and specifically a core group (depending on many things) is one which determines things, as is the case in the current times as well. Unless you completely replace the top command of the PA, which cannot happen, you cannot just change a COAS and expect whole sale changes, as things currently stand.

That is why, even if Faiz comes, thinking that he would be IK's personal secretary is just foolish thinking.

Bajwa, Raheel Sharif, Musharraf, yeh sab Nawaz Sharif nay hi lagaye thay...and so was Zia handpicked by Bhutto himself.

That is why when you weigh a person's caste, his political subservience to you, and regard him as your servant, rather than judge him purely on his professional capabilities, you get clusterfcks like this. There is now way either RS or QBJ would have become COAS had the latter been considered.
