PM Modi raises issue of Pakistan-sponsored terror in meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping

India’s policy is to fight Pak using terrorism of all sorts till the Last Mujib/Mukti Bahini/Afgan/TTP/BLA etc. !!! And, they have been being applied in verbatim since 1947!!! Can’t understand what’s there to debate about to begin with!!! India’s religious redemption lies in Pak’s destruction!! If Pak can return the favor - whatever capacity possible - is a bonus....

That is "liberal" ?nowhere in the RSS styled rant has the dimtwit had a word to say about Kashmiri people sufferring, their struggles. Instead he dished out every $hit talk against pakistan that is standard in Indian govt circles - "angry" muslims, terrorist producing, no law and order, negotiates with a gun to its head. There is absolutely no respect to Pakistani position, zilch empathy to Kashmiri struggle but this guy expects the world to think of him as "liberal". Much of India is dominated by primitive , hateful and tribal brahminical govt that these words like "liberal" have no real meaning.

yeah......i wudnt do that..if you want to get US strategic hopes up in the Indo- pacific region....with a republican head like " trump " .... :p

which state are you in ? ... red or blue ?

No f35 for you.....

Actually quite contrary to what you suggest, There is vast history of conduct of Pakistan's military that is being accounted for with engagement viz-a viz Pakistan.

Now, to address the other readers, if after reading my position they feel it's right oriented, or hawkish, here is a very recent video I was listening to from a very very liberal seasoned journalist of India. The adjectives he uses in the video are even unpalatable for me use, but more less it reflects broadly a majority of Indian educated (interested in geopolitics) opinion.

@WAJsal @Oscar tagging you guys not to discuss the merits of his discussion, but the role historical instances have played to shape the opinion today. Irrespective of click bait title, watch it in its entirety to get the subtext in this particular exchange, (@Oscar along with your post in the other thread)

No wonder you are so delusional. @Dubious @WAJsal check the journalist he quoted and watch the video.

And no one in India blames Pakistan for Maoists.

Actually you do blame Pakistan and China for Maoist insurgency:

Officials also claimed that ISI was funding PLA for supplying arms and ammunition to Maoists in the country and a “Strategic United Front” was being made to carry out attacks in India and on security forces in the Naxal-affected areas. An official source said, “ISI and PLA are in touch and supplying Maoists with arms. They are supposedly using China as the alternative route.”

Police claimed they have photographic evidence of the Myanmar-based PLA offering training in guerilla warfare to Maoist cadres from six Indian states in 2009 and 2010. The training camps were organized deep inside the forests of Orissa and Jharkhand. However, the revelation that ISI is secretly funding a part of the PLA activities has sent security agencies into a tizzy.

Remote reporting of PLA-Manipur, and their plans to tie up with LeT, but there is no diplomatic front that has blamed Pakistan, unlike Balchistan.

So, you do not consider 'officials' from North-East as Indians?

But it's not just the North East officials.

The Director General of Police for India's Chhattisgarh state Mr. Vishwa Ranjan too linked Maoists with Pakistan.

Bangalore police claim that they have evidence linking Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence agency with eastern Indian Maoist militants known as Naxalites.

Indian Home Ministry accused Shailen Sarkar's group of training Naxalites at ISI-funded camps in Bangladesh.

So on and so forth...

Even the BJP training manual says that Maoists get regular support from Pakistan and China:

And here you are trying to tell us that "no one in India blames Pakistan for Maoists" ??

Thats was quite a leap.
Remote reporting? - means a few instances reported in 2011 based on circumstantial inquiry. If an insurgent group was trying to tie up with LeT, they tried, the reporters might have jazzed up the piece a but, I do not think there is any psuh behind the idea of Pakistan actively supporting Maoists. That was my inference if you had any doubts about what I said.

Fair point Jackdaws, we have history to learn from of all things. When has conflict ever brought anything positive? The fact that the likes of me and you or MilSpec and others agree that there should be peace between Pak and India is a good thing. Maybe we can enable people to people contact, for example before I joined this forum I thought maybe Indians were all crazy or somethong, this view changed drastically and I'm sure many can relate. Work along these lines and maybe future generations can work something out. Leave it on them, globel warming and everything:D:nana:.
I had numerous Pak friends in University. Got along great with them. I've seen most of the time in the real world, they get along well abroad.
In an ideal situation, they should implement the Ireland model in Kashmir - allowing people to remain citizens of either nation they choose and have soft borders. Eventually that seems the only sensible solution but I doubt we will see it implemented anytime soon.

.
There is quite an irony here ... while Indians target Chinese in Pakistan and CPEC in general... I wonder if he kept a straight face... either way for a country that has such rich history of supporting muktibahini or tamil Elam and now BLA, one must admire the audacity.

.
it is not us he is talking abt...but the basis of belief of our neighbours on which everything runs ...
Must have misunderstood it.
As long as the trust deficit
It's not about trust with Modi govt, it's his personal agenda. He just tries to malign Pakistan every opportunity he gets. I loved the current Pak air space drama he pulled off, who are we kidding really.

We aren't educated or civilised enough for that model...

SO are you saying....pakistani supported taliban killing american soldiers is better ... my fellow "american" ???

Or does your religion come first before the country you live in ....apparently... :p

Watching the back and forth between you and 'dubious' was quite informative and enlightening.

From what I gather, from the Indian perspective, we have no reason to trust what PM IK says unless in conjunction with that of COAS of Pakistan. Past instances has made us weary in this regard.

From the Pakistani perspective , we (Indians ) seem hypocritical for bringing up such incidences with their closest friend.

I would protest the name calling on this thread though, a detailed and descriptive exchange is infinitely more valuable than taking potshots at each other.

One does not stop talking and exchanging views, simply because what the other side is saying is unpalatable, therein lies a boxed viewpoint.

I would recommend the Chinese Tibet model.
Pick a million Biharis + UP blokes and send them to Srinagar on a permanent basis.
Let them marry the local women, the true secular way - That will solve the problem.

He is doing what he must to give every bit of advantage to India,
Your leaders would do anything to give you the advantage.

What Modi is doing is exactly what the people expect from him.
He is answerable to them when he goes and asks for votes.

Like I said, you are missing the cause and effect. Modi doing what he is doing is the effect.
Cause is Indians wanting him to do it.
In fact common Indians want him to a lot more & be a lot more ruthless.

Good point and agreed. I just don't get how there hasn't been a huge reaction to the so-called air strikes. Just congress and some journalists asking questions and evidences, the rest all quiet, that brought India embarrassment more than anything.
