Pizza Hut set to open 75 new outlets in Pakistan

I wonder if the Pizza Hut (and Domino's franchises for that matter) make their pizzas much different than they do here in the states.

Or maybe there isn't much difference? Perhaps someone who's eaten at the franchises in both countries can let me know.
Eaten at US and Pakistani franchises, it's very different, American pizza has more sauce in it, and I guess that's what makes it taste much more better.

no one like Pizza Hut pizza in atleast Karachi and they are loosing badly to others like California Pizza, 14th street, Broadway and newyork pizza etc which are 100 times better then pizza hut. hence, they are now trying to open up in 3 and forth tier cities now.

When did you had an eatery in any of their outlet ? Their quality has drastically improved and to me Domino and Pizza Hut are the best ones in town.

Interesting you bringing up the sauce because I myself happen to be more into the pizza sauce than the cheese.

I know that probably puts me in the minority of pizza lovers who will say it's the cheese that makes the pizza, not the sauce. I really like tomato pies.

Thanks for responding to my question.

It really is. Lots of delicious cheese on their pizza. Makes the other chains look stingy in comparison.

One of the best pizzas out there, in my opinion. You've gotta try it.

Big thumbs up for the Costco pizza. I don't think I've ever been in a Pizza Hut as it has very few locations in my area (it's mostly Papa Ginos and Dominos). BTW Dominos Pizza was the absolute worst pizza on the planet years ago

(back in the 'Noid" 30 minute guaranteed delivery or it was free days it probably had 3 ingredients: the cardboard pieces that were leftover when they made the boxes, cheese, and pureed tomatoes).
People would pick ANY other place if they were ordering pizza...even Chuck-e-Cheese (and their pizza also years ago was god awful).

Complete rubbish. Promotes type 2 diabetes.

Why do people crave for this crap when you have superb local dishes which are far better; i would rather see a chain from your country go overseas.

Here we have nandos that is now global.

The great thing about Costco pizza is that it's only $10, has more cheese than any other chain pizza, and tastes the best.

Pizza Hut and dominos are both gross. Tastes nasty. The only decent pizza fast food chain is Sbarro.

Still doesn't compare to a slice from Brooklyn though.

Sbarro is pretty good for a chain. Their sauce is the best. Costco is really good too.

Do you live in the NYC area?

Lol, ya Texas is not the place for pizza. BBQ is pretty good though.

So what are the best pizza parlors in New York City, then? Any recommendations?

There was a place I used to go to in Brooklyn called Di Fara Pizza. Solid old school place without the bullshit. No glam, but if you're there for the pizza then you've gone to the right place. It's a true pizzeria by definition and a great place to get a pie.

I'll be sure to try it next time I'm in NYC. It's been a while.

I've always wanted to ask a New Yorker for their pizza recommendations. There are so many places to choose from.

I ate at Lombardi's in NYC, widely believed to be the first pizzeria that opened in the US in 1905. Their pizza was quite delicious.

All junk and crap food folks. This isn't good. The Americans have destroyed their own generations by feeding them such garbage. Obesity and other illnesses are huge problems. The Americans are exporting poison all over the world. Pakistanis are falling for the same trap. From Coca Cola to various other fast foods. Whenever I visit Pakistan I'm gobsmacked at how the masses consume this garbage. It makes us in the West look like kindergarten stuff. We need to be very worried for our upcoming generations. Not good at all.

While I won't defend the nutritious value of our fast food chains (or lack of), the fact of the matter is that people are ultimately responsible for what they put in their bodies. There's a reason why US fast food chains have performed well worldwide. It's because there is a demand for their products.
