Unlike India, which has mostly working professionals now, most Pakistani Parsis are richie rich business owners. Which is probably why they've stayed back as well.

The US and Canada is probably going to be the new home of the community within the next 10-20 years.

There are already per our last Parsi Directory census, over 50,000 Parsis in the US. I know a big part of my family is there since the 60s.

Add Canada, UK and Australia and the numbers are already larger than those that remain in India and Pakistan combined.

By and large Parsis feel extremely safe and loved in India (seems to be the same overall in Pakistan).

But Parsis are extremely opinionated people. And ethics morality and right and wrong are our religious tenets.

I genuinely in my heart believe what sanghis are doing in India today is wrong. Is unfair. Not to us. But to millions of our Muslims, Christians and Dalits.

Our voice will always be with India.

Not with Hindu or Muslim.
