What's new

Pic of J-10B with WS-10X for the 8.1 Anniversary

. .
and the reason ?

Look at the photograph. Single engined jet with one vertical stabilizer and no horizontal stabilizers. What other 4th gen jet in China's arsenal fit this description?

China can fit whatever engine on its plane but will only 'fly' with Russian engine. ÂÅÄÎÌÎÑÒÈ - Ìîòîð Êèòàÿ

Is that clear???

Hmmm. Self delusions by Russians on a Russian forum or solid evidence like pictures showing 4 different planes with the WS 10 and 3 already flying with 1 in mass production. Tough choice there.

But of course Indian trolls love opinions from forums instead of solid facts from pictures and videos. That fact is quite clear thank you very much.

. . .
No. His troll logic is that pictorial and video proof is inferior to biased forum based posts.

Here is a proof straight from Chinese forum..

Whether J-10B will be equipped with WS-10 insteald of AL-31F in the future:

"It's difficult. All J-10B orders at this point are planing on using AL-31F. SAC took all the WS-10 for themselves."

What kind of engine will Pakistan's J-10 use:

"Russian, do you really need to ask?"

So what about the prediction by "CAC" guy that PAF is going for J-10A and not B? Did he not claim that J-10s will not have WS-10s for now and all gone to SAC? Contradiction isn't it?

The guys not omnipotent. His statements have mostly been true, yet he is prone to errors. This is why I would suggest people to think for themselves before blindly agreeing with insiders even if they are mostly correct.

probably just one WS-10 equipped J10B is being tested, the j10bs entering service this year will be fitted with the Russian engines

huzigeng is not wrong too
first batch 0f PLAAF J10B will still be AL31FN this year,

not really, probably just one WS-10 equipped J10B is being tested, the j10bs entering service this year will be fitted with the Russian engines

Quite right. however the 100 or so AL 31FNs will mostly be going to the 58 or so J 10As Pakistan has ordered along with a dozen spares or so. The AL 31s would only be enough for the 10 J 10B produced the end of the year along with spares. Next year CAC has to use WS 10s as they have no other options.
