Phillippine rather US donate billions upon billions in military aid to defend themselves against China and not subject to US military control station within their nation. Phillippinos really don't want to be a vassel state to any nation especailly to the US in the past was colonized Phillippines for a long time. How bout Phillippines allow Spain to station their military in Manila that will increase the troop level of Phillippines defensive force. Yes, and in all my previous posts concerning US foreign bases I have always advocated to kick them out of Germany and form a true EU force.

BTW, we didn't invite the US to station here, they just came during WW2 and never went home.

USA is there to post few thousands soldiers and probably few warships on rotation basis.let their govt decide what to do.and if USA posts death squad there,its moral obligation should go to China,who literally forced to reverse the decision Philippines got took 2 decades ago which denied any base to USA.they reversed it when they faced Chinese warships in their own water.force any country and he'll be bound to call big daddies to protect them.

You compare your country reserve couple jet hanger with allowing foreign troop station on India soil? Why did your countrymen up in arm about US propose India allow US to station a drone fleet in India to fight the terrorist, you and your country all flatly reject that idea. You and your Indian brethen don't want foreign troop on your soil then why you shouldn't support Phillippinos protest against US station US troop on their soil. Will Indian be happy allow the British to station their troop on India soil again? Wouldn't India feel like a puppet being string along by the British master before the creation of India by the Bristish?

wrong assumption.India holds Singapore Fleet as they're our strategic friend and in dire need of bases.plus,who told you India never allowed US forces on its soil??Its always based on "Degree of Interests".India didn't allow US drone bases as it's against our interest.India allowed USA's spy drone to use its base in the past.

yes,it is against our interest.but if needs arise,it'd be set up within a short span of time,but probably you'll never know about it.its way over your head how this kind of stuff is arranged.until declassified CIA reports emerged,nobody could believe that India gave its decommissioned airbase to operate U2 spy aircraft.
