Just reading news ticket on ARY and GEO that case against Musharif and all who were in his goverment has been sent notice by SC. Which mean ppl like Chaudries of Gujrat , Sheik Rashid , Khurshid Qasuri , Qatil leagueies who were part of his goverment will get same punishment as Musharif? Which mean most of candidates in ALL parties should be disqualided and new date for election should be given

He wasnt part of his goverment. Its court to decide and if also did wrong as PTI supporter i will support court. And this will not end here than there are ZIA group. But what courts is pointing finger at is what his goverment did in lal masjid after 9/11 etc. Imran Khan was never part of his goverment he won election not given seat by Musharif. And as we all know he rejected PM seat by Musharif

He may not have been part of the government, but he explicitly supported Musharraf's army takeover from Nawaz. He later said that was one of his "biggest mistakes." Moreover, what about the judiciary? They have been at the bottom rung of power in Pakistan throughout its history and have been the chief supporter and validators of martial law from Ayub to Musharraf.

I really don't know what the SC is thinking in sending all these notices to all these politicians - what were they supposed to do? If anything SC should send notices to all the judges that took oath under PCO - only then will they have the moral authority to call politicians

Musharraf's actions are questionable, but I would also like the SC to look at it's own history of PCOs and supporting non-democratic leaders as well.

I dont know but looking at the devious and intriguing way of politics in Pakistan, we always think of conspiracies first.

May be Musharraf came to derail the election process. No matter how flawed and it is flawed, the elections must be held on time.
