Tahrir Square, Cairo
February 2011.

It happened in Tahrir Square, Cairo. Nothing new. MQM use terror and weapons. PTI is doing peaceful protest.
What happened after. They are standing at same place as they were before. I think you didn't see the bloodshed, and massacre after this. They are at same place. What they achieved, is only bloodshed and unrest in the country.
Care to see the videos on live leak & such vast bloodshed. You will change mind.

I am done for this type of revolution.

Same thing happened in Tunisia and Iran. They are in much better shape today. Not every revolution end up like Egypt.

I agree, there should be no bloodshed...

We should accept that we are slaves and chill.

Look, Nobody is perfect in the world. I have respect for Imran khan, his work for humanity, His sacrifice of leaving England, because he love Pakistan, NUML university in village and there are other good work on humanitarian ground irrespective of religion. I know, we have new democracy, and we are facing its worst form. Things will get better with passing time. PTI should continue peaceful protests, but they have no right to lockdown Capital. Nobody will visit from foreign country if capital is lockdown.
Right now, what i see , PTI is doing politics in CPEC, Even punjab is getting its lowest share of development w.r.t other provinces. We can't afford provinces politics, we already lost Kalabagh dam project due to politics for personal gains, We will suffer this in coming years. We waste large portion of water in in the form of floods, and we blame others for any disaster while we do nothing and plays politics.
Right now, PTI should concentrate on election reforms, that is vital for future elections. We don't have much time for next election. We can't afford military takeover in Country. This is not there job.

Deaths of Model Town and rampant terrorism is not bloodshed I guess.
Punjab government did wrong in model town. It was pre-planned operation. As hundreds of policemen already surrounded their house at 2am.

Then let the civilian opposition demand justice and see what happens.
PTI have right for peaceful protest but at the end ,Supreme court will decide nawaz future.

Oh okay. C u in 2060
No, maybe we get decision within 2 days if it favors Nawaz. lol . Supreme court should act as independent. As there are few black sheep in courts, there are good & well rupted judges too.

Senseless post . u seem to be a fan of pervez Rashid

I am fan of greater goods meaning stability. I am not fan of anyone and any political party. When i defend PMLN, i am defending the stability of politically and economically. If it was PTI in power, i would have equally defended them for stability of politically and economically, but maybe not if he lets TTP goes on rampage killing like General Musharraf allowed MQM in Karachi.

But Imran Khan will become fan of Pervez Rashid if he defects from PMLN since he seems to be fan of discarded politicians from PMLN. :D

NS is in real trouble. With Lal Masjid and probably DPC also supporting this lockdown, signs are ominous.

It's an annual occurrence now. Probably the government is far less worried about this now than it was when it first happened.

@Fallen King Sir What democracy are you talking about. where the institutions which are there to serve the common are used to kill them or where people are dying of hunger and there is no future for young generation your beloved leader peer o murshad hazrat mian nawaz shareef are spending million on his walls, security and his luxurious trips abroad. Dont you find it little convenient that when ever some protests are prone to happen something terrible happens. You aere talking about APS attack who was the one who gained most of it and it goes to this recent Quetta attack and attack before them.
The beauty of this democracy is that all the ministers are provisional law minister or finance minister you name it are there to bash one person IMRAN KHAN and PTI.

They are the work of the past. PMLN came at the time when the nation situation was already digressed, load shedding everywhere.

You should be blaming Marshall Law. Same Marshall Law that cost Pakistan from thriving economy under democracy in 50s went down to become unpopular nation with economy went down the drain in 70s. Then the economy got stabilized little while under democracy, and the military takeover in 80 and the rest of history to this day Pakistan is still dealing with side-effects of 80s policy.

90 was stable under the democracy, then military happened aka Musharraf. Then Pakistan became unstable nation very fast with allowing MQM to devour every resources in Karachi and allowed the birth of TTP. Bad receipts for the economy which resulted in killing non-stop and effected economy big time which brought poverty and whatnot.

Democracy just got back. The situation is starting to stabilize, and improved a lot compared to the last five to ten years. As i said earlier, it is gonna take more than 15 years to correct the mistakes had been done by the military leader with no concept of economy. Good news is that with the recent waves of billion dollars investment on the energy sectors, CPEC, and many other pipelines joining, they might fast-track Pakistan to become one of the stable nation with thriving economy in the near future only if democracy completes its term with peacefully.

It is important to let the democracy completes its term as sign of faith that a nation can be trusted with major investments. Stable democracy is the good signs means it is safe to invest in. Unfortunately, we still have PTI who are determined to undermine PMLN at the expense of Pakistan. I have no problem with PTI maintaining anti-PMLN, but not at the expense of Pakistan. Last Dharna cost Pakistan more than 500 billion rupees, burned infrastructures, took cities and towns as hostages, forcibly closed the businesses of cities and towns, imposed ban on the traffic which means no transportation - in other words, disasters for the businesses, and almost brought military takeover. None of the signs exactly echo that it is safe to invest with their money. On the top of it, those are the signs of anarchism which suggests Imran Khan is being anarchist big time.

Right now, he is inviting every anti-Pakistani elements to join Islamabad lockdown including some pro-TTP. That is literally advertising to the worlds that don't invest on us. There is the reason why General Raheel agreed to work with Nawaz Sharif, not because he wanted to, rather he had to for the sake of the stability of politically and economically. Both don't get along but when it comes to bigger picture, they are on board together. For how long is the question considering General Raheel is retiring too soon and some unfriendly Generals are eying for the military takeover under the excuses like Islamabad lockdown and dharna in the past aborted. I think PMLN might run away before the democracy completes its term. If that happens while military takeover, then it is over. No bigger players would invest their money on the unstable democracy hijacked by the Marshall Law that is literally anti-thesis of economy.

Enjoy democracy while you can. Democracy ruled only considerate period of time compared to the Military law. Once again, the democracy is likely to meet its demise sooner than we think.

This form of democracy is a failure. Martial laws have been failures too.

We need a new system. Blaming army for failures of politicians is a torn drum now.

We need to look at either the Iranian or Chinese systems or both.

Absolute power should not be in the hands of one person, be it the PM or the dictator. And we can't afford snakes in our system either. Major surgery required.

500 billion rupees ? PML-N ne apni na-ahliyat ki wajah se jo un dinon mein noksanaat huey hai ..wo bhi beech mein ghussa diye honge
