Nope , in mountain they can have to duck low where then come within range of 12.7 And manpads, almost completely impractical in mountains ,attack chopper are best suitable for mountainous terrain where they can shoot and scoot.
I think what you meant was hilly areas , ie deserts where a heli can hide behind a sand dune, then when enemy armour comes in kill range, hover a bit up fire load guided by turret or mwr, escape back behind dunes before enemy retaliation
