@Bilal Khan (Quwa) random thought popped in my head. Wouldn't SPAAGs be better for advancing armor/mechanized divisions to counter helicopters vs Pantsir. Because helicopter often have countermeasures against oncoming missiles??

Both shots in the video target an inactive Pantsir. Where either the truck is driving and can't target the drone. The other shot it is clearly parked in a hanger and not activated. LNA probably mostly has uneducated rag tag members who don't have the prowess to operate Pantsir.

Heck even Saudis with their shiny toys hahaha LMAO

Inside 48h, Turkish tactical drones destroyed 9 Pantsir S1. Some of them were inactive but Turkish account revealed the footages of Pantsirs while they were in active mode as well. One Pantsir that was destroyed in Sirte today had even Kamaz chassis contrary to Pantsirs provided by UAE. These system was either transfered
from Syria or directly came from Russia and I don’t suppose they were operated by Hafter militants.

Two Pantsir active

Tarhuna- Pantsir active!

Yeah keep believing to the LNA trolls even though they were proven wrong for hundreds of times... The truth is they destroyed about 14-15 UAVs yet they claim to shot down about 60 or so (Turkey has about 109 UAVs and the GNA has about 20 UAVs on total). Don't forget that they are propeller driven drones and they might be as cheap as the missiles fired from the Pantsirs so they are easy to replace.
Somewhere I read TB-2's price at the factory gate is less than 2m$...

A tactical level slow drone might be considered an easy target for a system like Pantsir that has both barrel and missiles but There are some serious points that make TB2 a real killer for these kind of systems. It is a tactical drone but performing like a MALE UAV so It can climb up to 28000ft altitude.
and Acc to some reports, The Turkish drones at dual formation are performing strike missions to some active SAM batteries. One drone is carrying the sensors to blind the spotted target from far away while other is sneakily approaching the target to release the MAM-L. That must be the reason some strike footages were taken from long distances where the MAM-L can not reach there.

Rather than blame the weapon system, (which, when used by skilled operators, and in a preferable environment), I would give our Turkish bretheren credit for using innovate tactics that make the weapon useful.

Ps. SAM systems have limited applications when you cede air superiority to your adversary.

Looks like the destroyed systems were not all operational but destroyed in transit atop trucks carrying them. I wouldn't discount the effectiveness of the Pantsir just because of how Syrians were not able to use them.

Similarly, one could make the same argument against say Migs destroyed on the ground by the Israelis.

PA desperately needs such systems to operate imbedded within the armored corps and will not be taken out by Indian UAVs as is happening in Syria right now.

Some of the Pantsir destroyed by Turkey in Libya and Syria were clearly in transit so they were not operational. Though I'm not convinced that this is the case for all the Pantsirs. Something we can be sure of is that Pakistani airspace will be far more contested, as evidenced by the recent Indo-Pak flare up which culminated in the shooting of Indian jets by PAF on Feb 27th.

That being said, Turks are just the latest to have successfully neutralised Pantsir. Israelis did it earlier on but as it was a first, Russia received the benefit of the doubt with its counterclaims. Since this has become a thing, one certainly needs to start asking questions. Is it operator fault? Is it a training issue? Or sheer incompetence? Perhaps all of the above in case of Bashar al-Assad's mercenaries/army and Haftar's militias.

there was poor strategy by Libyan forces,at least they should put some leaves or other nets over these systems for proper camouflage but they were openly moving pantsirs which make it easy to detect and destroy them

This is why PAA needs to get TB2 like UAVs and tactical attack aircraft to counter India's Jaguars, MiG-27s and 200 odd attack helicopters.
Tactical UAV only gud in standalone or none networked Air defense , both India and Pakistan have very well covered integrated Air defense network where ech supplemeted by various range SAMs, deploying tactical uav to do sead or strike mission will be very ineffective and waste of money, u need dedicated ew and stand off missiles for these roles, also in Feb 26th Indian strike package manage to come inside pak airspace, so if tactical ucav is an option PAF already done that.
