The SC's decision has nothing to do with Dharna's date. If they don't want to decide, nothing could force them. Jamali knew that he was retiring, he would not have included himself in bench. Even know, they could decide it with day to day hearing until 31st.

Rejecting the formation of a commission on the Panama issue comprising of the nation’s investigating agencies, the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf said that they would accept any verdict that the court itself would give as long as it is a decision that they would accept.

“I am a man of my word and I say this here and now,” said PTI chairman Imran Khan, speaking to reporters outside a jacuzzi at his Bani Gala residence. “We will wholeheartedly accept any decision that is completely acceptable to us.”

“That is how much we respect the five-member bench hearing our petition,” he added.

“All we want,” chirped in Shah Mehmood Quareshi momentarily, before being asked by Imran Khan to keep quiet so he could say the exact same thing, “is for the court to give a decision that is acceptable to us at exactly the point in time that we want.”

“I would ask the courts to do the decent thing here, that is, do what the person screaming loudest is demanding,” continued Imran Khan.

“We would humbly demand from the court nothing less than the exact decision that we want before my soup gets cold tonight,” he concluded.

He is trying to push the SC to give a verdict but these hobbits want to chicken out and are looking for an easy way out....Lanat on this Jamali for not fulfilling his duties and being a cunning fellow.

• Extension Rangers stay in Sindh
• Deployment of Rangers in Punjab
• Implementation of National Action Plan
• Decision on the "security leaks" issue
• Trade with India

All these issues requires legal premise and approval by the Govt. (Provincial / Central).

All these cases will serve to make Nawaz amenable

Army now knows that Nawaz only accepts the language of CREDIBLE threat. If there is no credible threat, he behaves like a dictator. Therefore, they have now prepared a mouse trap in the form of this SC case and the "security Leaks" issue *(which goes against his daughter).

No army cannot be such an idiot. Instead of requesting him to agree to these minor issues again which, btw, army has already been doing with out Panama and Dawn Leaks for past three years, they can send these wild boars of out the PM house permanently and get all the approvals.

Mouse trap for Nawaz Sharif, in form of panama case and security leaks?

Panama case...we know is dead..now...by delaying tactic.. SC will keep on delaying it..... and even if by any chance, there will be any verdict..it will be exactly like election rigging case..

Security leaks... well tht has already been forgotten..tht is truly matti pao.. if u have heard, I think day before yesterday, news came...tht the "committee which was investigating it" has asked for more time from interior ministry..(while we earlier heard tht committee has completed its investigation) .and Parvez Rashid is back in public eye.. so committee will keep on asking for more time.... and in the end will most likely give verdict..we could not find any source... tht, is IF they ever give their report..and yes..its report has to be submitted to Nawaz Sharif, if ever it completes its inquiry.. so forget abt dawn leaks .. panama issue, will still remain alive, atleast in media, through Imran khan...

Extension of Rangers in Sindh.. well, I think govt will extend tht...because Protection of Pakistan ordinance is suspended now, under which rangers could keep people, and interrogate them for 90 days, after their arrest...but since govt hasn't extended PPO...now rangers after arresting ppl, handover them to police.. so I doubt rangers in Sindh are a threat anymore..

Trade with India..and giving MFN... I think even Nawaz Sharif knows..tht in current scenario, it will be impossible for him, to grant India MFN, no matter how desperately he wants...

Deployment of rangers, in Punjab ...yes it remains to be seen, what happens on this issue.. but since PPO is not applicable anymore...maybe...theres a slight chance Nawaz Sharif agrees to it..but they will still resist it, as much as they can... lets see, what happens on this issue

PTI seeks details of Rs 2 billion jet for Punjab CM

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has sought certified information regarding the purchase of an aircraft for the use of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.

In her letter, PTI leader Andleeb Abbas has questioned why the CM had ordered the purchase of a VIP executive jet worth Rs 2 billion from the taxpayers’ money.

“Being the citizen of Pakistan and a taxpayer, under Article-19-A of the Constitution of Pakistan, and the Punjab Transparency and Right to Information Act 2013, I have the right to seek and get certified information pertaining to procurement of an executive jet aircraft for Shehbaz Sharif,” she said in the letter addressed to principal secretary to the CM.

“Was the Rs 2 billion of taxpayers’ money allocated in the provincial budget 2016-17 or not? The budget documents do not show this allocation,” she added.

“As a citizen of Pakistan I strongly feel that in view of the tragic loss of lives that we have suffered in plane crashes due to insufficient maintenance, such VIP purchases through taxpayers’ money are illegal and immoral and must be stopped,” she said.

The PTI leader said that a tender had been floated by the Punjab additional secretary welfare in this regard in the month of July, 2016 titled: “Procurement of Executive Jet Aircraft for the Government of Punjab”.

“How can the Punjab government use public funds worth two hundred crore rupees without even allocating it in supplementary budget? This is a violation of Punjab Assembly Rules, Chapter XVI,” she said.

“Are the Punjab Government Procurement Regulatory Act 2009, the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and PPRA Rules being followed in the procurement of the jet?’ she said.

“As taxpayers we have just suffered the tragedy of a plane crash in which PIA’s ATR flight PK-661 was lost along with 47 precious lives due to a failed engine. Why is this money not being used to improve PIA aircraft?” she questioned.

She further said that PIA was suffering heavy financial losses and had posted a huge loss this year as well.

“I appeal to all citizens to raise their voice against VIP procurements on taxpayer’ money as they are at the cost of so many innocent men, women and children’s lives,” she said.

She requested the CM Secretariat to provide her the certified information within 14 days as specified in the Punjab Transparency and Right to Information Act 2013.

Thoughts on the positive side. I sincerely hope that it happens. However, so far there has been no strong statement from Army side, may be this is the incubation period and they are waiting for MNS advancement first, which is very much possible in above mentioned cases.

Having said that since Gen RS has left few things which have started surfacing can be a fore warning for disaster.

1. Resurfacing of Pervaiz Rasheed
2. Uzair Baloch pleading not guilty in Arshad Pappu murder case.
3. Emergence of Bhata groups in Karachi, with evidence of violence.
4. MQM London show of power.
5. Mullah Diesel asking for shutting down of NAP on the pretext of not having delivered the objectives.

All these may be isolated incidents but can be symptoms indicating reversal of NAP. And MNS being strong. In my opinion Gen Ishfaq Nadeem would have been more stern commander then Gen RS and that is the reason he was skipped.

I doubt that he will have a price tag (it is more a hope I have).

He has come from the background of being Inspector General Training & Evaluation. Only very good officers are appointed there. He, himself, should have developed a typical psychology of what to see and want around him.

This should work in the favour of country.
