Maryam, Saif assigned task to convince Qatari prince

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has assigned task to his daughter Maryam Nawaz and Saif-ur-Rehman to motivate Qatari prince to record his statement before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).

Official sources said that Maryam Nawaz and Saif-ur-Rehman would likely to visit Qatar in this regard and try to convince Qatari Prince Hamad to come to Pakistan or record his statement in Qatar.

Sources stated that both Maryam Nawaz and Saif would hold meeting with Qatari leaders and also find help from other allies of Qatari in this regard. It is pertinent to mention here that the Qatari prince had refused to come to Pakistan to record his statement before the JIT.

It is vital to mention here that JIT had given three suggestions to the Qatri prince including either to appear before the court or to record his statement via video link or two members of JIT will go to Qatar and record his statement. But Qatri prince turned down all suggestions given by the JIT. It is worth mentioning here that JIT has recorded the statement of Hassan and Hussain Nawaz adding that Hussain Nawaz one time and Hussain Nawaz three times have appeared before the JIT.

News channel states that 5 member Qatari delegation along with one Indian national (6 member High Powered delegation) has reached Lahore, and 5 member delegation will spend their night at Raiwind Palace - and security will be extra tight.

Kal tak..tu I was thinking ke judges ne jo kaha hai tht JIT should file a seperatae application for their reservations , and tht those should be public... Till yesterday, i was happy... But now i am thinking tht whether its a double edged sword? Because ...when JIT will make its reservations public..against the govt ....PML N will say...dekha ...hum tu pehle hi kehtay thay ke JIT biased hai..ye humaray khilaf hain... Yeh kia insaaf karein ge? They are already making JIT controversial ..as much as they can...and when their reservations against the govt will be public..us par tu PML N jo karay woh kam hoga... They can boycott too, (they are already trying to get excuses for tht) citing..ke humari jo reservations theen..JIT ke baaray main..woh sach sabit hogayeen.. We all know they are expert at giving spins to a situation.. So..was it a wise move, on part of the judges to ask JIT to make those reservations public? JIT ne judges ko tu bataa hi deen theen...reservations...SC khud inn par act karti.. Lekin agar ek ek cheez public hojayegi..JIT ki reservations..tu JIT ke liye aur problems nahi hojayein gi..and they will be under more pressure, from sharif family? Sarif family will call JIT's reservations lies, and proof of their bias against sharif family..

Since it was asked by pakora judge and advocate to make these reservations public...now i am taking this with a pinch of salt too.. Although ke kal tak tu main bhtt khush thee...lekin ab different angle se socha..tu yeh move backfire bhi karsakti hai...

LAHORE: The PML-N camp which seems to have been losing its patience with the joint investigation team probing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children for their alleged off-shore holdings, declared on Wednesday that it will seek an explanation for the inclusion of the ISI and MI members in the body, warning of launching an agitation against the JIT proceedings.

Visibly nervous, the PML-N leaders who looked satisfied with the formation of the JIT by Supreme Court over a month ago, now want its dissolution for different reasons.

“WhatsApp call (reportedly from Supreme Court registrar) for inclusion of two members (one from the State Bank and other from Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan), leak of Hussain Nawaz’s picture facing his interrogators, JIT members’ pressure tactics and question mark over the expertise of the two members of the JIT -- one each from ISI and MI ─ are the reasons enough for the PML-N to go for an agitation against it (JIT),” Punjab government spokesman Malik Ahmed Khan told Dawn on Wednesday.

“As we already had challenged the inclusion of two members ─ Amer Aziz of SBP and Bilal Rasool of SECP ─ in the SC, we are going to seek an explanation that on what grounds the ISI and MI members have been made part of the JIT. We want to know their expertise,” Mr Khan said and added that the JIT had been constituted under 184 Civil Procedure Code, but it was exceeding its legal mandate.

Will there be any member left...whom they are not going to challenge? Instead of challenging inclusion of every member...in this JIT, one by one..they should simply tell name of tht member, whom they will not challenge? I am sure, till the end...there will be no such member.. All would have been challenged..
