@Realistic Change

Look at Maryam's twitter....she's posting pictures of some letter from BVI....what is it??

Haven't seen it; i can guess she must be retweeting what Ahmed Noorani had been harping since that the letter dated June 16,2017, where BVI sort of refused/challenged JIT's request. However what she is conveniently forgetting is that BVI did furnish info later in July, 2017.

Her ignorance re what date comes before has landed her in deep ****

Her that stance could not be even be defended by Beenish Saleem, Umar Cheema, or Ghareedah F - so you can imagine what level of Patwarism of that stance would be.

Maryam should have tweeted these ;)

As a side note; the embarrassment and wrath that Salman Akram Raja has faced from Maryam in the evening is beyond anyone's imagination.

However, her frustration is justiable, her entire future chances crumbled in few hours and as expected she used Salman A Raja as a punching bag to vent her frustration.

---------

Yep - checked she's tweeting Jun 16, 2017 letter of BVI claiming that BVI refused to divulge info to JIT conveniently forgetting that Attorney General's Office of BVI did write and offered full cooperation for investigations in July 2017. Obviously, July letter supersedes the June 2017 letter.

What happened to Raja?

He is a very decent man, I have no idea why he has lowered himself to this level of trash.

Sorry for off topic post but for a long time, I am interested in the Jindal family - Nawaz family connection. Waiting for the day when some evidence is unearthed as to why the LOC becomes hot whenever our ruling family gets into trouble.

My friend is delighted as his family rightly believes they didn't get rightful share when N$ wealth was multiplying through SRO's.

Their rightful applications were even not entertained even when his dad was alive. (@Farah Sohail - you know who I am talking about).

As for your other point, what I had been told by my contact in SECP, is that JIT didn't feel it pertinent to furnish the letter as it was contested by Wajid Zia on which BVI agreed and sent the letter that attests everything. In all fairness that letter had no factual value except nuisance.

However, when JIT came under undue fire for not being transparent they submitted even what they believed had no value. There were other dicumentary evidence as well but it wasn't sealed and delivered normally.

However as BVI has first interest in their clients as well; they had informed the party ($harifs) about the letter and they figured it to be missing hence hue and cry.

JIT just covered their tracks and got extra cautious and sent the letter so there is virtually nothing that is not with SCP now. Let's say they got extra curious for a Non Value Adding piece of paper so no further controversy could be created re withholding of letters/info.

Does this clarify, or have I worded it poorly - again :) and confused you?

Saudis seize shredder plant imported by Nawaz

The Saudi authorities have seized a scrap shredder plant allegedly imported from Israel by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Under the Saudi laws, all Israeli items are banned in the kingdom. Documents were forged to import the plant under a deal struck by Sharif's company - Hill Metals Establishment - to be installed in Jeddah, sources said. The second hand car press machines were locally purchased for the plant, while the main metal shredder plant was to be imported.

The plant manufactured by "Seram UK Limited " had been sold to a Israeli company ten years ago and was currently lying as scrap there.

The purchase deal was signed in Jeddah on January 19 by Hussain Nawaz Sharif in his capacity as the Managing Director of Al-Azizia Steel and Hill Metals Establishment and Roy Woolcock of the Seram UK Limited, who reportedly represented the Israeli company. A letter of credit of four million Saudi Riyal was opened by the name Hill Metals Establishment in National Commercial Bank of Saudi Arabia for importing the plant.

Sources claimed Sharif's son Hussain also allegedly quoted the worth of plant at 40,000 US dollars to save the customs duty.

The plant was dismantled and ferried on 17 trailers from Israel via Jordan's "Zarqa Free Zone". Abu Amir was appointed Customs Clearing Agent for handling the consignment in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi authorities got suspicious of the plant and discovered that the trade labels of the Israeli company were scratched, repainted and documents were accordingly prepared to cover up the original identity of the equipment.

Sources said Hussain Nawaz met Saudi Customs authorities on April 15 along with a high ranking official to seek the release of the plant, but to no avail.

The custom authorities informed him that import of Israeli machinery was strictly prohibited in Saudi Arabia and they were processing the case for violating the laws.

The authorities had seized 3 trailers, while Nawaz was allegedly trying to bring the remaining 14 containers, lying at Al-Zarqa Free Zone, Jordan through some other routes.
