Just imagine a party which has cumulatively ruled for 36 years in Pakistan has nothing substantial (development) to sell to get the votes but begging for sympathy votes for her old ailing mother.

Afreen and uber afreen for the voters who will still vote $harif (~60%) as ~ 40% will be ghost votes in this election. Massive numbers already struck down and transferred over to other constituencies within Lahore.

Last time's margin was 38k (even with rigging) and with entire state machinery at Maryam's disposal the lead must increase to inflate the deflated and punctured ego.

As for Panama - NAB; It will be interesting to see how QZC gets out of boiling hot water he will be in soon.

It wud be interesting to see the margin this time, its all up to the voters now as rigging cant be done this time cuz there will be rangers and army on polling stations plus an entire media focus on just one constituency so rigging wud be a tough task but yes like you have said pre-poll rigging is in full swing, lets see how it goes...i really hope this shudn't be a one sided affair. As far as NAB and post panama cases are concerned, well as long as QZC is in charge i have no hope until SC or a monitoring Judge steps in and takes complete control.

It will be nothing less than a miracle if Dr Yasmeen Rashid somehow manages to defeat Kulsoom Nawaz...with all state resources being used by PML N..as its a matter of life and death for them..However chances of this miracle happening...are extremely low...but we can still pray for this to happen

I hope ...SC takes action under article 187 and 190 to ensure complete justice and implementation of this verdict in letter and spirit.. As for NA-120, last time in Ayaz Sadiq's by election; 18,500 votes (selected UC) were struck down/transferred and disabled. Margin of official victory was ~3,500.

In this election 29,000 are dubious, while till yesterday final lists of ~12,000 were selected to be disabled. This time disabled/transferred votes will not be more than few hundreds from each UC; to not raise any red flags.

Police Muqabla Chief Architect ex IGP Punjab is spearheading the control rooms setup.

If PTI remains as lax as in bringing voters from home to polling stations like it was in 2013 then result will be widened margin of victory.

Only person in PTI of interior city Lahore which understand constituency voting politics is Aleem Dar - rest of the other ones like Hammad, Waleed and even Shafqat are too shareef for hooligans of PMLN.

The gravity of situation (from $harif's POV) can be partly assessed by the fact that party winning this seat since 25 years, the Chacha had to beg the Bhateja to run the campaign - even then Bhateja flew away in first class to London

It was always the supplementary references that are making Nawaz family scared, they know they are coming.

It was always the supplementary references that are making Nawaz family scared, they know they are coming.

Lets hope tht supplementary references are actually coming.. It all depends on monitoring judge..and his willingness to implement panama case verdict in letter and spirit.. Unfortunately..uptil now..Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan hasnt shown much initiative/ willingness to effectively supervise and monitor NAB proceedings and references.. Hopefully he wakes up, atleast now..and doesnt let NAB play tricks..but his conduct uptil now, isnt making me much hopeful.. I hope, I am proven wrong

Regarding Maryam...how can she be given clean chit? Unless and until theres a HUGE NRO.. In panama case....if proper trial is done..she is going to jail, for sure...on forgery and fake documents.. She is in big trouble..
But as..is the norm ..if theres HUGE NRO..then she can be given clean chit..and i wont be surprised if tht actually happens..because cant trust current establishment or army leadership...in particular....

One man can ruin all possibilities of NROs IF he wants.. And tht is Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan.. He has the most crucial role to play.. He can make or break the situation.. But I am highly disappointed by him, as of yet.. He had to ensure tht panama verdict is implemented in letter and spirit and monitor NAB proceedings.. But dont know..why isnt he being proactive? Util now..he has t done ANYTHING at all to monitor NAB..

Lets see..if he makes NAB file supplementary references.. Abhi tak t unke conduct se aisa nahi lag raha ke woh ziada interested hain.. If he wants..justice can still be done in future procedings.. LOT depends on him and him only.. Agar woh chahein tu koi NRO kamyaab nahi hosakay ga.. But only ..IF he wants..

What will wake Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan up? We dont know..whats his mood regarding sharif family?.. Considering the amount of abuse...that sharif family has been directing towards judges..after disqualification..Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan should have been fuming with anger..and atleast should have ensured solid references against them..so tht they are convicted in corruption and stance of these panama case judges is vindicated..on "mujhe kiun nikaala" questin by Nawaz Sharif..... Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan should have been very keen on strong NAB reference so tht the conspiracy theory tht SC did it due to establishment is proven wrong and sharif family is actually convicted in corruption... If sharifs are gveen clean chit like zardari due to weak NAB references...sharifs will come out victorious and may even do...intiqamaana karwaayi against these judges..

So it was in J Ijazul Ahsan's personal inetrest too..tht he monitors NAB references effectively..and he doesnt let NAB play tricks., but till now..he doesnt seem much interested.. Lets hope he wakes up..and makes NAB file supplementar refrences..jis ki umeed tu bhtt kam hi hai...jo ab tak inka conduct raha hai ,,us se...but you are right..lets hope..tht justice is done finally..
