I mean appeasing Indians and refusing to support Pakistani interests, despite our support for their cause in the past is frustrating to some people.

The question for the decision makers now is whether Pakistan proceeds with this Ummah first policy as it has done in the past and yielded little results, or whether we adopt a Pakistan first policy and worry about our own issues first. Either way our policy towards Palestinian independence should still remain the same.

We put emphasis on the whole rather than the individual, the clan, the region, or the country because it is what Islam teaches us...

Arabs and other Muslims have been heavily secularized & nationalism over Islamic brotherhood is rampant...we can even see it within certain Pakistanis too. Thankfully, Turkey has started returning back to its roots and the Indo China Muslims have been impervious to such designs (Malays and Indonesians).

Our, as Pakistanis, roots also go back to Islam. All of the ills and evils that exist today in Pakistan have connection to the bad aspect of our culture. Secularists paint it as a religious issue.

In Islam, nationalism is only allowed as the 2nd best thing....after brotherhood in religion....otherwise, it is heavily frowned upon since after nationalism, comes tribalism and clanism....of which there are many examples in Pakistan.

Exactly, times can change, what can seem like a lost cause can not be so in 5-10 years....look at the resurgence of the Afghan Taliban against all odds....

Afghan Taliban have been fighting the US + NATO since 2001.....just because the fruits are starting to bear doesn't mean that they couldn't do it by themselves.

They tried to bomb because you went to war with them they retaliated. I never said to be in bed with them , control your excitement. I just said its time to talk to them directly.
