I feel sorry for the Palestinians who have been abandoned by the house of Saud and Egypt. Why should Pakistan step into that void under any circumstances whatsoever?

The only scenarios which should draw Pakistani attention vis a vis Israel is if some nutcases start building temples where al aqsa stands, or if our friends in Turkey are threatened by Israel. "Diplomatic relations" in a general sense can have multiple potential uses, especially against enemy states. And marriage to Indian citizens is hardly going to constitute treason. Not really sure you can simply paint israel and India with one brush as their relevance and threat to Pakistan is not equivalent.

No one cares about sellout Arabs...they were present after the death of Prophet SAW until today...Hazrat Abu Bakar R.A. brought them back to Islam in the Ridda Wars. Salahudin (a Kurd) took back the Holy Land when many Arabs couldn't, due to infighting. The Turk Osmanis took care of the Holy Land until betrayal by the Arabs.

Since WWII, the Arabs have known nothing but humiliation.....yes, some have become very wealthy....but wealth without power is nothing....heck, their "wealth" isn't going to last for much long either...

Once the above mentioned countries have their uses finished, they'll become the next Syria/Libya as the Yemen War spreads through the region. Some fair points but it's time to be pragmatic and realise that Israel is not an existential threat, whereas India is. Pakistan's leadership's job is not to be a global morality policeman but to serve the interests of Pakistan.

It's a moot point anyway, as a realignment on Israel isn't going to happen in any of our lifetimes especially with Netanyahu in power. In any case, I'm certainly not in favour of anything beyond neutrality and a concerted effort to dissuade Israel from arming Hindustan. Israel should also be rebuffed on any efforts to destabilise Pakistan's western border by degrading the stability of the Iranian regime - that's my two c on the matter.

My friend you missed something here. The Arabs I mentioned who were in the room are only 3 small countries and they don't came in any calculations of Arabs. There were many missing from that room. Saudis were not there men's Saudis are not on board with this deal. Egyptians were missing Kuwatis missing Iraqis were missing.

you are wrong here. Israelis and indians do not hate us as much as the Arabs do. The policy of state does not necessarily reflect its citizens. If that was the case then why are Pakistains and indians close friends outside Pakistan ? why dont you see them hanging out with arabs ? why indians ? I have met Israelis and they have treated me very generously unlike the arabs who consider me another guy from third world.
