Pakistan's 32 Nuclear plants to produce 40,000MW

$2-2.5 billion per plant.

it is one of the least expensive energy source.

Not sure. China bought the Toshiba-Westinghouse design and plants for reported $3billion a pop.

China seen buying 8 Westinghouse reactors for $24 billion nuclear energy projects| Reuters

8 plants for $24 billion. Please update your numbers.

Thank you
Whilst the link you provided mentions the cost of construction as $3 billion for the 1000Mw plant, in 2010 President Obama announced $8.33 billion in federal loan guarantees to construct the two AP1000 units at the Vogtle plant. The cost of building the two reactors was expected to be $14 billion or $7 billion per plant.

the total installed capacity of electricity generation of pakistan itself is 21,103 MW and by constructing facilty of 40000 MW facility what you are going to do ?

Bhai 40,000mw nuclear by 2050. Anyway expect sharp increase in capacity plus generarion in 2-3 years. By then many coal power plants and dams will be completed.

For Pakistan it will be $4.8 billion for 1100mw plant, so $9.6 billion for 2200mw. $6.5b by China and rest Pakistan. Already under construction, should be completed before 2020.

China commits $6.5 billion for nuclear power project in Karachi - thenews.com.pk

USA is lot more expensive, so i can see $7 billion for one 1000mw plant.

Anyway

is it possible to use the same plant to make nuclear explosives

Possible?

operationally? No! They will be under the watch of international monitors.

Why do you even bring that question up?

I provided you with the cost of these units within the context of China or Pakistan.

Please do not use USA's internal costing.

There is a lot of wastage going on and price is inflated due to real and imaginary concerns, regulations, labor cost, etc. etc.

Thank you.
