Pakistanis are obsessed with Islam, Kashmir & Hindus -- Sheikh Mujib's speech

Ironic of you to say that.. he was jailed by “dogs” yet killed by his own people at the end so what does that make them

Sheikh Hasina also doing the same as the “dogs” were doing

Jinnah's achievements are in 47 and Mujib's achievements are in 71. I am comparing those. What happened after that time is not relevant in comparing their achievements

Bengal famine? What has that got to do

You're too stupid to notice, so just forget about it.

you name your missiles as Abdali, ghaznavi and ghori.

Durrani and Ghauri were both Pashtun, and Ghaznavi's descendants are also Pashtun. All of three of them also had major cities in Pakistan (Peshawar was Durrani's winter capital, and Lahore held the same purpose for Ghaznavi and Ghauri), many of their troops came from Pakistan (or have their descendants among the Pakistanis of today), and our country is the successor state to the Muslim empires of the region. Do you even know how many Durranis there are in Pakistan?

Nice try.

No, we stopped fighting because we were outnumbered 15:1 and knew that fighting at this point was just plain stupid, especially when you wouldn't have the stomach to even touch us. Even when having Kalashnikovs pointed at our heads, you knew who your masters were.

No you did not. You surrounded in humiliation and singned the instrument of surrender in front of the cameras while the whole world watching. Greatest surrender after the WW2, utter disgrace and humiliation.

And this is exactly my point. Your sectarian mentality makes you claim that even those millions who died are 'not Muslims.'

Millions died and they're all non-Muslims....according to you. Why? Not because of their religious sect but because they happen to be on the other side of an ethnic and political conflict. Majority of whom were just plain civilians.

I'm not going to get into semantics since my comment was purely retaliatory in nature, but if you insist then I suggest you read up about how Islam views separatism based on ethnic identity and how many of those killed from 1971 actually came from Muslim backgrounds.

1) There would have been no Pakistan without Bangalis

2) There would have been no Bangladesh without Pakistan

0) There would have been neither without Indians

Cheers, Doc

Who cares. Mahmud Ghaznavi is known as an Afghan conqueror with his capital in Ghazni, Afghanistan. Some of their descendents may have settled in Pakistan region that does not mean they are Pakistani heros.

You are the successor state of the Mughals? You joker, Mughal empire was abolished in the mid 1800s. You are not even a nation, you are a political entity with number of ethnicities under it.

There would have none without the British. Remember the British also made Republic of India....

Sure but let’s just take it on paper
-carving out an independent country consisting of multiple ethnicities perhaps with different goals from a Hindu majority India struggling against the British
-leading an already polarized singular ethnicity with the help of like I said the biggest player in the region

If you think that the latter was the bigger achievement than truly you are delusional

There’s barely any incidents of sectarian violence between sunnis and Shias now even on ashura.. so don’t know what you’re on about there..

I looked it up, and you've had a lull in the violence this year but you had violence last year. That's hardly enough time to say there's "barely any incidents". I'm glad it's reduced but it's just reality that it happens.

Here's an incident from April 2018 that had 2 shia killed

And 4 christians killed that same month

Yes we did, you can put whatever spin on it you want but at the end of the day we both know what the facts are, and that's why your nation still cries about 1971 decades later.

You are the only spinner here and the reason for that is you trying to hide your shame of surrender. The whole world knows Pakistan army 93 thousands of them surrendered, signed the instrument of surrender and taken as prisoners of wars. Some managed to flee through the southern border into Burma.

1) There would have been no Pakistan without Bangalis

1. Pakistan exists because of Muhammad Bin Qasim (first Muslim to take control of large portions of the region), Ahmed Khan (first person to envision the idea of Pakistan), Rehmat Ali (coined the word Pakistan and created the "Now or never" pamphlet), and Jinnah (executed the strategy to create Pakistan). None of these people were Bengali.

2) There would have been no Bangladesh without Pakistan

2. None of the Bengali separatists came from West Pakistan.

0) There would have been neither without Indians

3. I will admit, this is true.

Please close this, yet another useless thread.

Also please ban the fool who started it.

Mahmoud was not Afghan but Turkic. He was born in coterminous Afghanistan though. His father founded the Ghaznavid Empire by conquering parts of eastern co-terminous Iran and co terminous Afghanistan and he, Mahmoud, carried the expansion into co-terminous Pakistan and even co-terminous Bharat.
