Pakistani Nuke umbrella for Turkey?

Few days ago, I have heard a conversation between some Turks and Pakistanis. The topic was a wihdraw of U.S nukes from Turkey and a possible gap filler by Pakistan. How possible is a deployment of Pakistani nukes in Turkey.

What do you think, would Pakistan protect you with own nukes or give you some if needed?

Not a good idea because it would ensnare Pakistan into Turkey's affairs. And given the tension between Turkey and the Gulf states, it could lead to even more problems.

Turkey is still part of NATO, hence still enjoys Nuclear umbrella. The few nuclear weapons we have got are barely enough for India so lets not chest beat and be silly giving a bad name to our own country. Soft power is more important these days instead of talk about caves era macho man.

few nuclear weapons? its estimated that Pakistan has somewhere around 120 to 150 nukes, thats way more than what is required against just one country.

PAKISTAN should give Turkey the nuclear umbrella but frankly, if the u.s. withdraws its nukes from Turkey, that would mean that the russian nukes are on their way in...the u.s. would never risk loosing Turkey regardless of how cold the relations are between the two.

As part of a mutual defence pact between the two nations - why not. I just don't think our leadership has the courage to make such a move.

That would not make any strategic sense. Do we need to develop Nuclear deterrence against Sweden or Norway?

Ask yourself questions:

>Do the Turks face nuclear threat or nuclear bullying from Israel = no.
>Does Pakistan need to neutralize any Middle Eastern Power in the future, while we are engaged with the 1 billion+ RSS nationalist to the east? = No.
>Will the international establishment(charged with Islamophobia) agree to a Muslim country spreading nukes over the land to give nuclear umbrella to ummah? = no.

The only possible and plausible thing that Pakistan could do for Turkey is to give them the nuclear technology sometime in the future, if the need arises. I am sure, they will handle the rest quite well.

right now Turkey is still the member of NATO and if in future somehow Turkey has withdrawn from NATO or NATO expel Turkey. than if some non-muslim country with nuclear weapons threaten Turkey with nuclear weapon than there at point Pakistan might interfere between them.

That country is the size of a continent and we are not talking about some small island. Count the number of super powers arsenal, count now and during the bygone era. Even silly billy Israel holds at least 3 to 5 times more numbers then us. Lets not bring in every debate and every thread our nuclear weapons as they are some sort of diamond mine and we want to dazzle the world with their sight. They are enough to put India into coma but not enough to conquer the wold. Nuclear factor have given us some sort of self protection but its over use in every forum have lost all its charm and world feels threaten having these toys in our hands and that's gives us bad name.

Turkey was snubbed for F35 so they are feeling a bit grumpy and Pakistan is also feeling very grumpy due to French weapon sales to India

It will bring us closer to Palestinian issue and Turkey can be more directly involved in Kashmir talks

No need. I dont think Turkey needs nuclear bombs they are not being attacked by a seven times bigger power. Pakistan would also not be needing any if we were fortunate enough to not have 7 times more powerful fascist hindus as neighbours.
And even if they need some day, we can just pass on the technology and they can handle things on their own (and I think even that is also not needed. In today's world all it takes to make an atomic bomb is a few dozen capable physicists and engineers and I am more than sure that Turkey has a lot more than enough of those ). Why earn a bad name to do something which can be done easily under the table.

Come on mate! do you really think we will ever use over a 100 nukes on India. The most we will use ( if ever) would be 3 to 5 ( Mumbai, Delhi, Calcutta, Banglore )

in real world people and countries pick their sides ... neutral people only exist in graveyards .... and everybody know Pak-Turk relation is time tested in Pakistan if there are two countries which people believe are very close to Pakistan then they are China and Turkey, first there are no chances that Turkey need any Pakistani Nuclear Umbrella since they are part of NATO, second already they are working with Russians at Akkuyu nuclear power plant

but putting aside all these facts if the situation arises Pakistani public pressure will force its government to give assistance to Turkey
