But how many years it took to produce that enriched uranium and with what percentage of enrichment the uranium was? Do even you have an idea how much material is needed for building a single bomb... between 16 to 50 kilos of uranium 235 that is 80-90% enriched for a single bomb.
Now imagine if you want to build a whole arsenal.

If Turkey wants to start a nuclear program it will take it at least a decade of very serious work and investment to achieve anything. Once again I tell you- Turkey neither has the resources nor the International community will stay back and watch how it builds a bomb. if Nuke tech is that easy, then every country can makes nuke weapons by its self, you know the critical mass necessary for nuclear fission is than nuclear chain event could start, you need 22 kg of highly enriched uranium to start a nuclear fission reaction, Pakistan takes almost 40 years to do the test, you will start nuclear power plant in 2023 that doesn't mean Turkey will make A bomb within year or two but i think turkey will achieve this feet in 10-25 years well in future @MMM-E

From a Real Politik standpoint, it makes absolutely no sense for Turkey to start a nuclear weapons program. Turkey is a part of the NPT treaty and a nuclear sharing NATO member. What are you guys talking about?
