A maulvi in sindh made a sun in sindh 1000 years ago.

If you really want to stretch the history of science then it starts with the ancient Greeks and Thales...A better definition of science would be the widely accepted age of Scientific Revolution which is from 16th to 17th century precisely from the experiments of galileo in 1589 till publication of Newton's Principia in 1687...and immediately after that came the Industrial Revolution which is from 18th to 19th century.......from 17th to 18th century the Enlightenment happened

Yes, but that has its origins in the renaissance which has its origins in Islamic Spain and the crusaders who gained knowledge in Islamic lands during the duration of the crusader Kingdom there.

If it weren't for Muslims preserving ancient greek and roman texts in Arabic and Persian Europe would never have had the renaissance.

Indeed. The libraries in Baghdad, before they were sacked and the books burned and dumped in the Tigris and Euphrates by the mongols, were filled with knowledge and wisdom of centuries of human civilizations that today we will never appreciate as it's been lost forever.

Didn't read the standard Mullah bashing, but you are right. For a period of time, muslim spain was the centre of learning for Europe. I believe many European scholars had to be proficient in Arabic.
