I didn't read the Urdu version, but the English translation doesnt say anything about attire or slogans.

Sounds like a bunch of Pakistani and other south Asian migrant workers got attacked at a bus stop and in their homes. Was the victim wearing shalwar kameez and shouting Allah-u-akbar? Were their homes adorned with big Arabian flags and Allah-u-akbar banners? What, exactly, was their failure to assimilate here, other than having the wrong colored skin?

Yes, there are troublemakers in the expat community but, just because the Islamophobes justify their hate campaigns with ridiculous excuses and generalizations, doesn't mean we have to buy them.

This was a hate crime, plain and simple. There is no justification or excuse.

Though i can't say about Eastern European countries, but the perception of indians in Western European countries is far better than that of Muslims, maybe its because indians put more focus on education rather than going around joining gangs and adopting street culture or chanting "Europe is the Cancer, Shariah is the answer" and other similar slogans.

There was a report about a study in the UK which stated that indian students were doing much better in school and scoring higher marks than their Pakistani and Black counterparts, what a shame.

The recent UK riots and the cooperation between Pakistanis and Indians is a good example to follow- let me tell you this alliance did not happen over night or was not a instance natural reaction- The gangs played an important part in protecting South Asians during the violence-
