This is very unfortunate, i feel sad for those Pakistanis who are now stranded in an hostile environment, but i think this is due to the increase of xenophobia amongst the indigenous population of Greece along with the economic problems prevailing in that country.

its sad that our GOVT still did not take any action.......GOVT should release statement and condemn this and also pressurize the GREECE govt to make sure the safety of Pakistanis

Don't ever expect anything good from this present Gov. Apparently filling up their pockets is their biggest concern.

BTW why the hell they attacking Pakistanis? non of any 9-11 hijacker was Pakistani nor any master mind no planner was Pakistani .

I feel it is not related to 9/11. I haven't read the news yet, but my friends there tell me it is the unemployment and the feeling of hopelessness that is taking over the population.

It is purely my thought though, but it is more probable that these people might have attacked Pakistanis/Asians with the idea that "their" jobs are getting stolen by these people.

In such a state of chaos, impulse takes precedence, and rationality rides pillion.
