You are right, but even the local gora people don't behave the way South Asians behave. Everyone must follow the rules and discipline.

Please read my post again. My point is, not to malign your country's name at any cost. If he would have been in Pakistan, must have settled the issue the way we all know.

Ultimately your own community reputation will suffer at abroad. This guy could have thought abt bigger cause. Though, you may bash me for propagating corruption.

No one has rights to take your passport against your will!

I dont allow anyone to touch my passport without a recipt or a written letter that they have it...I even ask for confirmation of receipt of passport when it goes to or leaves the embassies...

God forbid it lands in a crime ....I would be solely responsible no one will even think something else can happen - also why we are asked to report to police the min we realize its "missing" or basically not with you!

No I won't bash you for propagating corruption. But when a person stands up for their rights, it is impressive and must be applauded. I didn't worry that India's image would be sullied by the massive anti-corruption movement couple of years back.

That's the problem with the choti soch people especially South Asians when they obtain a higher post. They tend to become Gujjar by showing their goon skills for no reason.

Agreed, always stand up for your rights, but use right forum and channel, specially when abroad. Not the Ho Ha on social media at the cost of community reputation.

I don't know exactly what the issue is, but this man who seems to be protesting and parroting, claims he has given his Australian Passport. I am assuming it is for a Pakistani visa. Meaning, if the passport is Australian, then he will be treated like a non-Pakistani. Doesn't matter if he was a Pakistani or not in the past.

It is a common problem with all non-Pakistani passports. Embassies and consulates can keep them until a visa is issued or denied, regardless of whether the passport holder was a Pakistani once.

If you want to keep your second nationality, but want to visit Pakistan with ease, then either maintain your Pakistani passport or get a NICOP which allows visa free travel to Pakistan.

Secondly, he claims 'This is not Pakistan'
Well, technically, embassy and consulate flying the flag of the represented nation is that sovereign nation's land.
So he is actually standing on Pakistani soil.
