All this Turkey stuff is all based on GE engine. US could limit its export any time they want. With Pakistan, there is a danger of China getting hold of GE engine technology.

R&R has offered engine based on EJ-200 for TFX and it will be available to export customers as well if Turkey seek that engine.

But China never worries about India getting GE engine technology.

1. India does not have any R&D related to engine technology.

2. India lacks related industries. It cannot even manufacture critical materials alone.

3. India lacks technical talent.

4. India lacks large-scale production capacity.

"Independent manufacturing"+"mass production"=you have basic technology.

With an army we are slapped with, they have surpassed British Colonial army and that's without any sarcasm or exaggeration, Pakistan has no chance to develop, defense or non-defense industries.
US DOD introduced a great number of technologies, DARPA introduced TCP/IP, Internet, GPS, GUI,
so many others they funded like stealth programs and keep playing their deep impacting role.
If army had been sincere and not furthering their agenda, ministry of defense could had played positive role in developing technologies, but our smart duffers control even MOFA and agriculture let alone MOD.
We will be collecting broken pieces for a very long time.

Zabardast....I have a solution to ur predicament......let's disband PA....n better yet invite the banya next door to send their army that will save all ur probs.
