Pakistan Navy NOT Developing Nuclear Power Submarines – DG PR (Navy)

Islamabad - Media reports on Feb 11 state the Pakistan Navy intends to build nuclear-powered submarines as a matter of priority. No sources were quoted in the reports, which indicated the first submarine would be operational in five to eight years.

When PakSoldiers.Com contacted DG PR (Navy) Commodore Irfan ul Haq, he rejected all the reports circulating in the Media about Nuclear Submarines.

It should be kept in mind that A Nuclear Submarine is a submarine powered by a nuclear reactor .The performance advantages of nuclear submarines over “conventional” (typically diesel-electric) submarines are considerable:

the news of development of Nuclear submarine is not confirmed for sure. However, as said in earlier posts, Pakistani scientist are working on a miniaturized nuclear reactor intended for naval nuclear propulsion.

So if the news is in fact confirmed, its on the cards!

The Pakistani defense forces do have a habit of surprising us.. we have seen it time and time again…

Nuclear submarine projects is all about secrecy, even our own program there was not that many articles written during the time of development.

Lets just say that When We Pakistani's start to develop something that we can use against any aggression & which can also be useful against west as well , the whole world start's to have some digestion problems , so its batter to revel something when there is appropriate time if we are working on it is is not going anywhere.

And besides best tactic in a fight is the one your enemy does not see coming.
