This is a claim being spread by Punjabi nationalists based on an unreliable play which claimed that Chandragupta's army consisted of "Shakas (Scythians), Yavanas (Greeks), Kiratas, Kambojas, Parasikas (Persians) and Bahlikas (Punjabis)" and that he expanded West to East.
