Pakistan ready for a bilateral nuke non-testing arrangement with India: Sartaj Aziz

Your world is limited to the subcontinent, that does not necessarily apply to india.

We have threat outside of subcontinent, and we dont wish to confine ourself to subcontinent,

Unfortunately India is Pakistan centric in every aspect. Stop comparing yourself with China.
China is way ahead in every aspect. Come to real world.

Even India Pakistan is not comparable . India is a 2 trillion dollar + economy . China is the root cause of the problem in South Asia. All problems are initiated or promoted by China in Asia. No country except Pakistan and North Korea are in friendly terms with them.

Let's be clear here, we negotiate on our terms. Your request is dismissed.

This is a tactic employed by there minister on China's saying. Prove the world that you are ready to sign and we will get you through NSG and Indians will be made to look the Bad Guy.

Instead of becoming a mouthpiece of China, Pak should use its brain and try to improve relation with India by halting sponsoring, manufacturing, and exporting terrorists.

Yes I know India has a lot of enemies since India is enemy of every country in the region

Boy wakeup come out from your disney dreams...

Obviously, it's highly unlikely such an agreement will come about in the near future. But Sartaj Aziz's comments are only meant to show the rest of the world that Pakistan is ready to talk about nukes. And, to a lesser extant, show that India by and large is not. I doubt his Indian counterpart will respond with anything substantive on the issue.

In plain terms, it is rhetoric, intended to deceive, and doomed to failure right at the outset.

The window when India would have listened, and listened very hard, has closed.

All the news anchors and people on Pakistan media. Threaten that they will Nuclear Bomb India. How will someone take them seriously with this attitude that we will bomb you. Nuclear Weapon is a responsibility and requires greater level of maturity.

My friend when a person have nothing in hand then he usually try to bulff to showoff...this is with mr Aziz...

India already got in MTCR, and he knows India very soon got the NSG membership.....

Currently Chinese foreign secretary in India(Pune) to discussed on NSG and support on SCS:what: this is what foreign policy....soon or later India join NSG...

Not to deceive. Pakistan wants the world to know that it has nuclear weapons for a reason, and that it's willing to make some concessions (if minor). You can disagree if you like.

You may be right about the second part of your post. However, while it would would be nice if India listened, Pakistan does not expect it too. And that's fine. The statement is more to show its views than to bring India to the table.

Again, the statement was not really about India, it was about Pakistan. That was my point.

Was the disagreement not clear? I am sorry.

As you admit in your conclusions, the statement is more to 'show' its views than to bring India to the table. Just deceit.

There is no "deceit". It just wants to voice its opinions. I'm sure Pakistan would like India to come to the table. But it does not expect it too. It's that simple.

I'm going to try and keep this short; take it as an idiosyncratic view from an idiot, and we'll get along fine.

Pakistan would be shocked if India came to the table. That has never been an objective. It has always been about clandestine attacks, subversion of treaties, violations of the border, including the Line of Control, with armed assistance at the time of border crossing to teams of subversives, logistical and communications support to killer squads, recorded for the world to hear and corroborated by evidence extracted by the Americans.....where do talks come into the picture? Even the successful Indus Waters Treaty is periodically challenged by a repentant Pakistan, deeply distressed at the prospects of peace.

You are right, Pakistan does not expect India to come to the table.
