Hmm. OK. that sounds genuine; no fake could manufacture that orthography.

Submit your request in triplicate and it will be considered.

I fear that the nukes of Pak is not safe because there are fundamentalist elements within their army who can side with the radicals anytime. the aim of the worl should be to disarm both Pak and China of fissile material and nuclear weapons.
Right.

What if Shiv Sena or a similar fundamentalist body comes to power in India? When you point a finger at us, do not forget to check your own house.

Thank you lord bharati superpower. We're very thankful for this contribution of yours. We'll pull out all troops from our side of kashmir & you can take it too & you can also take Baluchistan as a bonus. You bharatis are the best human beings Earth has ever witnessed. May Martians bless your soul.

I'm going to try and keep this short; take it as an idiosyncratic view from an idiot, and we'll get along fine.

Pakistan would be shocked if India came to the table. That has never been an objective. It has always been about clandestine attacks, subversion of treaties, violations of the border, including the Line of Control, with armed assistance at the time of border crossing to teams of subversives, logistical and communications support to killer squads, recorded for the world to hear and corroborated by evidence extracted by the Americans.....where do talks come into the picture? Even the successful Indus Waters Treaty is periodically challenged by a repentant Pakistan, deeply distressed at the prospects of peace.

You are right, Pakistan does not expect India to come to the table.

Good grief. While I definitely don't agree with your views (India is certainly no angel), no one was trying to deign India here. I was just trying to explain Mr. Aziz's comments from Pakistan's perspective. That is all.

If you want to make your points, that's fine. You have just as much right as I. However, with all due respect, please don't quote my post. You are unnecessarily trying to create a debate with me on other issues. I have no desire for that. I was merely stating my thoughts on the article. I have made my points.

I'm not upset by the way, just tired...

For a few tense moments, I thought you wouldn't be nice about this magnanimous offer. Now I can breathe again.

I quite understand. I am in a cranky mood, and wouldn't like to bug you in that mood. Catch up on your Zzzzs. We'll discuss your terrible behaviour as a country later (just remind me to work myself up please; it's so difficult after a break).

Pakistan's conventional military and nuclear deterrence is India focused, and reactionary to what India does. Pakistan has been willing to negotiate such a thing for a long time, it ball has always been in India's court; Unfortunately, as long as India views China as a rival, and Pakistan as a threat, India will never negotiate; lest we forget, it was India that introduced nukes to the subcontinent.
Hypocrisy! Tell me why don't you have a no-first-use policy like India has? Isn't that because of insecurity and a mortal fear of an Indian offensive deep into Pakistan?

A no-first-use policy is the issue and not a ban on nuclear testing which is purely hypothetical. Today, neither India nor Pakistan are in a position to test nukes in the present geopolitical environment. If you do you'll be screwed as you would become a pariah state with sanctions that would bleed you to death! So nuke testing is passé. It's never going to happen.

So what Sartaj Aziz is suggesting is absolute rubbish. He's a past master in spewing baloney at the drop of a hat! He's > 80 and needs to retire and take some much needed rest. As per medical research, a person loses more than half his brain cells after 80.

I REALLY dislike the direction in which your thoughts are going.

I'm competing with the Pakistanis here and their media who never hesitate to call PM Modi a terrorist and not Narendra Modi but 'Darinda Modi'! (Meaning predator). I want to stoop to their levels. It feels good for a change! :-)

This is such a great gesture...the world appreciates Pakistan and I wish India reciprocate with the positivity.

Yes Sir i agree but the problem from our end is.....

But with whom would India sign the treat? With the Nawaz Sharif government, the Pakistan Military, the ISI, or the Terrorist Combine? First let they decide who is running the country. Only then India just might give it a thought.

One more thing Sir i tell u....
Mark my word, whenever they say something good; we get some very horrible things. Then they will back off from what they say now (again unilaterally as if India going to sign it). ha ha:cheesy:

What BS is this! India doesn't ask for any such arrangement but Pakistan 'offers' it.

Last we heard Pakistan kept going to UN on Kashmir despite a bilateral agreement called Shimla. Will it change the hypocrisy of Pakistan? I dint think so.

It was India who took Kashmir issue to UNO in 1948, it was India who took and discussed Kashmir issue in Tashkent accord.

Its the hyprocy on Indian side.
