You guys are a joke! Having 100 or 10000 nukes would not make a quantum jump in destruction. Just one 20kt nuke per city is enough to wipe out the entire population.

After a nuke war, neither you nor I would be there to see the results. We all would have turned to ash. So your argument is specious.

I fail to understand why most Pakistani friends refuse to understand that Pakistan would NOT escape destruction and they'll be wiped off the map too? Don't you guys understand that India has nukes too? Or don't you know? It doesn't seem so considering that Pakistanis are doing the Bhangra as though the destruction of India is a cinch while for Pakistan it would be business as usual after the nuke war! Jeeeez!

Pakistan nuclear arsenal tops 100: report

Pakistan has doubled its nuclear weapons stockpile over the past several years, increasing its arsenal to more than 100 deployed weapons, The Washington Post reported late Sunday.

Citing US non-government analysts, the newspaper said that only four years ago, the Pakistani nuclear arsenal was estimated at 30 to 60 weapons.

"They have been expanding pretty rapidly," the report quoted David Albright, president of the Institute for Science and International Security, as saying.

Based on recently accelerated production of plutonium and highly enriched uranium, Islamabad may now have an arsenal of up to 110 weapons, Albright said.

As a result, Pakistan has now edged ahead of India, its nuclear-armed rival, The Post noted. India is estimated to have 60 to 100 weapons.

It will be better if you will check related thread created in past before making new thread, this is not new information and not important because Pakistan is proved atomic power so now there is no charm left to count 100 or 1000 nukes. Go ahead for another useful topic.

I guess ure did typo mistake ..it is I guess 1115......not 115......everybody shold take note of it...cuz after 1000yearz and making at least one nuke per year it calculates to 110 +1 nuke X 1000 years + 5 surplus equals = 1115 nukes in total ....umm....

First did you analyze whether it is possible to at all use even a handful of them ?

No offense , just academically --- how many secure storage areas do you reasonably think Pakistan has ? considering your limited geographical area. Do you realistically think these sites , the sites of your missiles , your nuke complexes are not being monitored by Indian Military Intel ?

There are doubts about Pakistan's capability to reach all of India in the first place ...but lets say for assumptions sake they can .

Do you think they can take out more than a handful of our military nuke assets ???

Okay so you admit that 5% of nukes i.e around 5-10 nukes are enough for India .

Then it proves the fact that you are in fact wasting valuable resources by producing nuke after nuke when clearly you have exceeded the required limit. And This is the point on which several of the posters are arguing ---is it necessary for more production of nukes ??? read the earlier posts..
