Pakistan needs to replace China with Russia

Pakistan will never betray or replace china.
Pakistan is not materialistic nation or people. We will always stand with china and chinese people. They are our friends from days when china was nothing and Pakistan was worse.

China is irreplaceable for pakistan and pakistaniz. We will be with china no matter what. Official policy and hearts of pakistaniz say this out loud.

New friends are welcome but what china is to pakistan and what Pakistan is to china cannot be replaced period.

China's textile export is more than hundred billion usd each year. They are not really interested in making money selling weapons. Currently, relations between Russia and China are very good. If Pakistan buys Russian weapons, China will support that.

If you talk about the attitude in the relationship between the two countries, then I agree. Thoughts like "China has no choice but to support Pakistan" are very dangerous.

No you cannot. Russia would never jeopardize its geopolitical and economic relations with India over a country that it can hardly say it has warm relations with. India has been on Russia's side ever since the Cold War ... relations like these ones that are entrenched economically are very hard to unroot, especially when Pakistan has a far smaller economic stage than India. To choose Pakistan over India and push India to the US sphere of influence would be a disastrous choice for Moscow in terms of geopolitics and its weapons industry.

1. Money is not born by itself, nor does it naturally disappear. China was once the poorest country in the world before Deng Xiaoping began economic reform. China's starting point is even lower than India.

It is not taking anyone for granted. India is enemy of both China and Pakistan. Hence Pakistan and China have a shared interest to confront India. Neither China is making a favor towards Pakistan nor vice versa.

Both Turkey and Iran support our position on Kashmir.

Where did I say Russia is competing with China. The point is to divert our defence money from China towards Russia to compete with India.

Neither China will sell to India nor India going to buy from China. So we putting our money into China is a wasted leverage which is better spent and used towards getting Russia on our side.

Our relationship and interests with China are not limited to defence. We will still engage China on CPEC. China can still continue and increase investments in CPEC projects. Building relationship with Russia does not mean we have severed our relationship with China.
