No no pushes you to buy Chinese weapons, and the cooperation between China and Pakistan is win-win.

Pakistan can buy Su-35, Mig-35, Su-57, S-400, and so on from Russia at any time.

Without the orders of FC-1/JF-17, Type 054A/P, and so on from Pakistan, it is still fine to China, as China's military industry can get enough orders from PLA.

China just provides one more option to Pakistan, and Pakistan just chooses what Pakistan needs. That's all.

If other countries can provide better choices, I don't think Pakistan would refuse.

Except Corona Virus we can love all the Chinese products.

No doubt China has given us many technologies and weapon systems but they don't to it for the love of Pakistan rather to confront India.

Even if Pakistan does not buy any weapons from China, they will still consider India as their rival & enemy. So they is no risk of China selling any weapons to India.

On the other hand, Russia had been selling weapons to India for many decades now but this relationship is very weak today thanks to Modi who is anti-Russia. Today, Modi's India is primarily buying weapons from the US.

Hence, Pakistan buying weapons from Russia instead of China would break the Russia-India relationship permanently and we could get advanced weapons systems from Russia.

Chinese continue to help Pakistan because of the strategic nature of the country and because of the enormous economic gains for them to overtake USA as a major economic player with maturation of CPEC and other factors.
Pakistan should continue to be extremely thankful to China for its past and present support, but never at the cost of national interest. ( However, who is going to determine our national interest ??? The current political parties and set up ?? Heh heh heh )
Improving relations with Russia should be a primary concern. Russia still has India as their primary biatch where they can continue to exploit money out off while giving huge commissions to their corrupt leadership, however easing into areas of co-operation should be a major inclusion in Pakistan's foreign policy.
I just pray for a dedicated and honest leadership to emerge. As long as the people of Pakistan will continue to follow the noonias/jialas and current goons infiltrating the youngest party Tehrik-e-Insaf, abuse anyone who tries to say otherwise and not rise up to current political parties and judiciary (lol Pakistani judiciary !), kindly continue to dream and make posts like these for mental masturbation.

Don't put words into my mouth. I never said China was forcing Pakistan to buy her weapons. Don't take it otherwise my friend. I support Sino-Pak relationship but it is critical for Pakistan to divert the defence funds from China to Russia to get Russia on its side. China has options to sell her weapons to many other countries.

My limited point is that Pakistan is wasting its money by buying weapons from China instead of Russia as whether we buy from you or not, you will still support us but buying weapons from Russia will ensure that Russia too will support us in addition to China.

I think Jafer meant was as a supplicant to China we could purchase weapons and have cordial ties with Moscow besides China and Russia have more in common towards countering American Hegemony gaps do exist but it's been overblown by western experts.In the 60s it was different Beijing hated the Soviets guts especially after Khurschev took healm they even fought a brief border war these days Sino-Russo ties are quite close so Pakistan does not have to worry about picking sides anyways then again I think China is still better reliable rather than Russia

Russia is inferior to China in electronics engineering, UCAV, shipbuilding ... but there are several areas where the Russians took the lead such as engines, missiles, metallurgy, materials...

Pakistan and china are bonded together due to their respective geography and location.

The statement of Pres Xi clearly shows the importance and depth of the relationship when on IK's visit after 27feb he stated " Let us know what is needed---". No ally can go that far---.Other than the USA & Israel between their relationship---.

Relationships are built over decades and against mutual adversaries---.russia still befriends our primary enemy---and we have stood against russia for decades---.

Every dollar that we spend on Chinese weapons results in one dollar less that is available to spend on Russian weapons. We does not have unlimited money like you. We have to juditiously spend our money. The ROI of spending money on Russian weapons is greater than ROI of spending the same on Chinese weapons as you will continue to support us either way but we if spend the money on Russian weapons, we will have support of the Russians too.
