Pakistan needs to replace China with Russia

It is not the question of Supply Chain/Channel/Sources.

It is the question of how Pakistan uses her precious money.

US & West is in alliance with India to confront China. Pakistan will never partner with the West as China are our ally and both Pakistan and China consider India as our enemy. Hence putting our defence money into West is a big NO.

Now coming to China, every dollar we pay China is a wasted dollar. It is like paying your wife to have a affair. China has no option but to support Pakistan. So paying China is totally useless.

The only country where Pakistan should invest and will reap benefits is with Russia.
Do you mean Pakistan should pay protection money to Russia?

T-90 (2001) and SU-30 (2000) are two decade old deals. India will not buy SU-35 or MIG-35. They are going with US fighter for their MMRCA deal. S-400 will be scrapped like their FGFA deal once the THAAD deal with the US is finalized later this year.

Lolz even their spare part deals are huge. India have a huge SU30 fleet. Pakistan can never replace china, the trust and cooperation level is too deep. We saw how Turkey tried to replace US with Russia and quickly got the bitter lesson. Russians cannot be trusted and they are not stupid, they will akways prefer india an old ally and bigger market.

Why do you think Russians will prefer India over Pakistan? This is just a pure misconception among many Pakistanis.

Russia has nothing against Pakistan. We were just on the opposite sides due to fate as Russia needed India to confont China and US (partnered with Pakistan) during cold war years.

Today, times have changed. Russia is in alliance with China and India is with the West. Pakistan should take this opportunity to improve relations with Russia. Russians are eager and are willing to sell they top tech. We just need to show our seriousness and put money on the table.

Fair enough, improve relations with Russia but what does Russia have that we can't get from China?

The question is what do we lose if we don't buy from China? Nothing! China will still support us provide Veto cover at UN, they will still invest in CPEC and Gwadar etc.

China is just a law of diminishing returns. There is no point putting money in China. It is wasted money with no returns.

But if we put our money into Russia, we build new a alliance, get additional UN veto option, Obtain tech for Nuke power, Gas Pipeline, Military tech and Weapons. The possibilities are endless.

But China gives us the means to indigenously produce advanced weapons systems ourselves. The Russians won't. Why would they?

EXACTLY, have good relations with Russia but sacrifice NOTHING for them.

There is a difference between enhancing relations (which Pakistan is doing) and "replacing" china. It takes decades to built the kind of relationship and trust we have with china. U have comprehension problem or something, dont discuss something u dnt understand.

Replacing China is only with regards to defence purchases. We will still engage and allow China to invest in CPEC projects. I don't have any comprehension issues. It seems like you are the who is unable to understand.
